Intelligence report made known to Jonathan revealed the plan by Western powers to back a Northern rebellion against Jonathan like the case of Gbagbo and Ivory Coast
Jonathan seeing that Nigeria has no technological skill to produce her weapons needed to defend herself , had to protect his people (SS/SE) by leaving in peace all thanks to the betrayals down South.
What a man of peace who rightly said that his quest for power is not worth the blood of Nigerians. now, compare with a war time general that was ready for dogs and baboons to do death match.

The number of deaths, job loss, and economic somersault under Buhari is unprecedented in the entire history of this nation.

The question is how long can Nigerians endure before they revolt like a goat that has been pushed to the wall?
PoliticsRe: Nigerian's Are Getting Tired!!! by chubhiee: 5:05pm On Feb 23, 2016
It is self evident that Nigerians have short memory. They have the ability to endure all manner of hardships for four years and will smile and echo rankadede nagode Allah once some piecemeal is dazzled before them for just a few moment and they shall troop out and vote again and again.

They never learn.

Palestine will still be like paradise to him.
Syria is better especially in the city of allepo
Buhari is running away from the country he almost plunged into a civil war last year
Even some parts of Allepo are enjoying public power supply and water with food aids getting to them.

Apc were battle set to ignite Naija after pouring fuel during their campaigns. Even Uncle Dele ran to Ghana and most came back when Buhari was declared winner even in an election with irregularities, deaths and massive underage voting captured live on tape. Gej accepted even before the final results were declared and left peacefully.

Not all Nigerians can be fooled!

Baba, na revolution Nigeria needs. The old order needs to be pulled down and rebuilt on an entirely new structures. This patch patch and Apc Pdp election bobo won't work. If Nigerians misses this opportunity they are forever doomed.

No easy way out. Let's speak the truth. We effed up majorly, and this is beyond political ideology or ethnic identity.

Short term solution is to sell some of our oil assets to improve our reserves but the value is in the tank right now and which investor will like to deal with the situation in the Niger Delta with armed youths?

Another way is for the government is by debt. Float a bond and let Nigerians in diaspora invest. How will they convince most people with what we know? I think this is already in motion.

Hand of God solution which we can't control is for war to break out in the middle east and oilgoes back up.

The rest are very long term but we have a crisis to deal with.
There's nothing hand of God in war breaking out in middle east so your banana republic can profit from blood money. instead, Hades would be unleashed on Nigeria so middle east can profit with peace and prosperity.

If Nigerians truly understand what's about to hit them, they either escape from that country or take to the streets as revolutionaries.

Nigeria's population is about 170 million people and it's projected to increase to about 200 million in a couple of years. The sad thing is that the economy is not improving proportionally to accommodate the rise in population. Wouldn't it be a disaster if the population rises and the resources isn't there to Carter for them all? As it stands at the moment there is too much pressure exerted on the available poor infrastructures by the current population especially in places like Lagos. Then what should we expect when the population increases? A lot people are currently going hungry in the country and resorting to desperate measures to survive, which includes both legal and illegal means. If the population increases unchecked while the economy shows little or no growth the number of hungry and desperate mouths to feed will multiply as well, which will increase the number people resorting to crime to make a living for themselves. This is going to be chaotic.

Shouldn't we be worried about a situation like this?
The rate of ritual killings ongoing is alarming all in an effort to survive Buhari regime. The rate which people are visiting babalawo and pastors to device spiritual means to stay afloat is at epic proportions. Nigerians deserve Buhari. I stand with the people's general GMB.

PoliticsRe: Oil Price: How Iran Plans To Block Buhari’s Latest Move by chubhiee: 3:15pm On Feb 23, 2016
Unfortunately, Buhari has been cut up in the web. Ideally he should have willingly stopped over in Iran to discuss his mission, but the military clash with the Iranian-backed Shia group (Islamic Movement of Nigeria) and its leader, Ibrahim Zakzaky in Zaria, Kaduna state last December has put paid to the possibility of a détente with President Hassan Rouhani and the Ayatollahs of Iran.
Also, without Iran and even Iraq on their side, Nigeria may have to wait a bit longer before oil prices reach levels sufficient to improve revenues.
When the chicken farts, the ground will start to chase it.
PoliticsRe: Oil Price: How Iran Plans To Block Buhari’s Latest Move by chubhiee: 3:10pm On Feb 23, 2016
President Muhammadu Buhari, in a bid to crash oil glut and push oil prices high, on Monday, February 22, left for Saudi Arabia and Qatar where he will engage King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Senior officials of Saudi kingdom.
According to his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President will focus on the “Ongoing efforts by Nigeria and other members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, OPEC, to achieve greater stability in the price of oil exports”.
Other areas of engagement include; meetings with heads of international financial organizations and multilateral associations before going on to Doha, where he will also visit Medina and Mecca to pray for greater peace, prosperity and progress in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, oil price in recent times has been rising on a snail pace as the world’s two largest oil producers, Saudi Arabia and Russia had last week, agreed to keep oil output at January levels, which will assist in preventing further decline in oil prices. However, the ability to compel other oil producing countries to key into the idea, so far has proved abortive.
As at Monday, February 22, Brent oil price appreciated by $1.49 representing 4.5 per cent at $34.50 a barrel, while US crude (WTI) futures rose above $31 a barrel, gaining $1.95, or 6.6 per cent, to $31.59 a barrel.
Buhari’s visit to Saudi Arabia which is aimed at forming an alliance, to achieve greater oil stability has been a bone of contention among political watchdogs.
Nevertheless, analysts have argued that such move might meet a dead lock as Buhari and the Saudi authorities are in the black book of the Iranians who had vowed to push a million barrels per day into an already saturated market after years of western sanction.
It should be recalled that Iran and Saudi Arabia have been locked in an escalating dispute over Saudi’s execution of a leading Shia cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr.
Related: Saudi Arabia, Iran controversy worsens
Late Sheikh Nimr, was a vocal supporter of the mass anti-government protests that erupted in the Eastern Province in 2011, where a Shia majority had long complained of marginalization.
Iran had threatened that Saudi Arabia would pay a “high price” for the execution.
This dispute has affected the Shia and Sunni Islam foreign policies with both sides forming alliances with countries who share their theologies, and backing militant groups in those that don’t.
Related: France killings bad, Zaria Massacre okay – Buhari
According to the International Energy Agency, IEA, “Today’s oil market conditions do not suggest that prices can recover sharply in the immediate future.”
Russia and OPEC member Iraq both pumped oil at near-record volumes last month, with Russia reaching another post-Soviet high of 10.88 million bpd.
Iraq has planned to raise oil output levels to more than 7 million bpd over the next five years, and to export 6 million bpd of that.
Oil production in Iraq has hit a record high of 4.775 million bpd in January.
