Kante is a beast. I wonder why the coach prefers kovacic ahead of him. That dude can't do half of what kante does.

Kovacic is not used in Kante's position, it is Jorginho that plays the deep lying midfield position.

The coach changes his midfield pairing according to his game plan,the opposition and the availability of the trio. The three most likely will play in the second leg. By the way, Kovacic is a top class midfielder in his own right and no one in the team has his abilities. Same goes for Kante.

Plus you think it's just this season i've been watching Christensen and Zouma? They are ok CBs but definitely not the quality a club like Chelsea should boast of.

Why I praise the Man City is because they play a highline which is more open and susceptible to counter attacks. Despite their open style they have conceded less goals than Chelsea.

Man city have really not had world class CBs,probably Kompany. They benefit from the kind of system they play which you pointed out earlier. Players go in and out of form so that is not a big deal. Afterall, there were times that Stones was constantly on the bench.

I never mentioned Zouma cuz he is very shaky but I still maintain that Christiansen is better than the CBs u guys have in terms of ball playing abilities.

you have to understand what Andy is saying. Pepe on his own is a quality CB who I agree is better than most EPL defenders including Chelsea's bar Silva. Their are football formations that can cover the short comings of most defenders and have them looking like the second coming of Baresi. Rudiger is flourishing very well under Tuchel when we know on the best of days he's as jam body as it gets. Defenders like Pepe can do well in various setups like 4 or 3 at the back but guys like Rudiger or Christensen just mistakenly play them highline the way Dias and Stones do for City and you will think you are watching a comedy movie.

You are just too engrossed with whatever that is going on in Mancity. Dude one of the best ball playing CB is Christiansen and he is better than whatever Mancity have in that regard. Then add that to a very robust Rudiger and Silva, ofcourse he doesn't need introduction.

When individuals looses one ability, it is reasonable for them to develop other areas/ abilities. Perhaps they worked on their jumping power. Some people are tall but do not have jumping power.

That being said, it is about time African teams maximize their abilities to their advantage, ie the physical strength and inculcate it into the modern day football. Most African teams are just very passive and rely only on their strength without making any effort to develop other aspects of football.

When you watch local football, u see lots of players running like headless chicken without any sort of technicality. We have a long way to go before we can compete favourably with the rest of the world.

I am just happy for him. Those huge potentials could yet be realised finally. He should keep it going knowing that folks are watching. With time, he will get the recognition his recent showings deserve. He just has to keep it going. Lad is doing very very well.

If Huesca survives relegation from La Liga, then probably Nwakali could be installed as a starter in their midfield as he is clearly bossing La Liga Smartbank despite featuring for one of the lowly rated sides in the Spanish tiers. A fine rebirth he is having. Like Kelechi (Iheanacho), Like Kelechi (Nwakali).

I pray he moves to a better club sef.
Praying and hoping that he sustains the form and eventually reach his potentials.
