Messi replaced Zlatan, can't compare with Mr defensive striker who has never scored 20 league goals in his career, don't forget klopp brought Lewandowski to Dortmund, if he see better hard working striker he'll dump Firmino.

You think Klopp didn't see other out and out strikers before he decided to sign Jota? Even Minamino?
Bros,Emeka is very right...not all teams play with an out and out strikers... Some coaches prefer forwards that are very mobile with good work rate, not the type always waiting in the 18 yard box for their teammates to lay them a pass..
If Klopp had the chance,he would rather sign Mbappe than Haaland.. And again, Liverpool don't have any proper AMF.. Will Haaland be waiting for Arnold and Robertson to be sending crosses his way?

I think Rodgers would do exactly what Pep did yesterday, bring out fringe players, get beat and focus on the league which is the most important thing at the moment
Making an excuse for Pep now grin grin

Laporte, Dias, Sterling, De Bruyne, Cancelo, Gundogan, Foden, Fernandinho, Rodri, Mendy, Jesus na him you dey call fringe players

Imagine saying beside “Positioning, aerial prowess, finishing” what does Onuachu has Those 3 attributes are compulsory for a good striker a striker that can’t finish

Our best defensive partnership (Stones/Dias) didn't start, De Bruyne got injured in the first half, Foden, Gundogan didn't even start, Mendy and Jesus are masquerades

If that's not the sign of a coach going on hope alone I don't know what is

Just accept your loss and move on.

Chelsea also had important players that didn't play at all and others were subbed in. I wonder how some ppl think sometimes. Success is not meant for one team alone.

Laporte that started is a world class player and he is better than stones and Dias

Mancity first and second squad is better than almost all epl squad first team

Chelsea won and they deserve it

Guardiola cannot win everybody

I don’t like your excuse of saying city started fringe players ,fringe players wey better pass Chelsea first team players abi ?

Cancelo Dias laporte mendy are better than Chelsea back line ,no disrespect to legend Thiago Silva ,he is 36 that’s why I will pick Dias and laporte over him

Infact those 4 defenders are more expensive that the whole Chelsea team grin

Lol come off it abeg

So Laporte is not a good defender abi?

Christensen, one of Chelsea’s best defender under Tuchel didn’t play too

De Bruyne got injured in the second half not first, even when he was on the pitch, he was lost as he didn’t get the ball most of the time he was on the pitch

Foden and Gundogan didn’t start but they came in so what is the excuse?

Jesus wey Guardiola don dey play since when now don turn masquerade cheesy

Just accept, Chelsea didn’t not give you the chance to play your football and were the better team yesterday not coming with fringe players excuse and saying your coach was relying on hope in a semi final match

spot on! Though I disagree on their defenders being better than Chelsea's. It was Lampard that made the Chelsea's backline look shaky.

No excuses Chelsea completely nullified your team yesterday. Tuchel has really done well to come up with a formation that guarantees defensive solidity. I always suspected that once the blues get the first goal your guys would find it difficult to score.
