drlawizle: Aren't you sure of yourselves anymore...I beat my chest to say it that we can do without y'all...we did in it in OAUTHC when y'all went away...there was overall better outcome for patients cos in everything we do we do it passionately...same cannot be said for y'all...fight & insult all you want...you know the bitter truth..if Nigerians allied health workers can't see us as there leaders..they must have prepared themselves to be on their own...you are the one sounding very unsure of yourself. You are the one fighting and insulting and I'm laughing at your childishness. Keep blowing hot air and making Nigerians lose the last confidence they have in Nigerian trained doctors. That's why rich ppl in this country travel out to get wholistic and good medical treatment |
drlawizle: You can please leave our hospitals in one piece...the health system would be better off for it...your badluck is beginning to rub off on us hence the need for the space...go and setup your health organization and let us run our hospital...lets see who patients will flock to..us or your miserable bunch...even patients want doctors to do the simple work we delegate to nurses cos they don't feel satisfied with their work...perhaps the reason y'all also wannabe called doctors...Nigerians can see through all the facade...charlatans!thank God you mentioned Nigeria because I'm sure the populace are readng our writeup. Keep making them lose confidence in Nigerian trained medical doctors by showing them how shallow you are upstirs. |
SAPEDRO: well, I am not here for war and I am neither a doctor nor half baked, look at my profile and check my pix, do i look like a comedian? I am not taking sides with either of the two parties i am just on righteousness side, so your post about me is totally uncalled foryou should'nt have commented on what you do not have a good knowledge of. Those professions you mentioned can't be pushed aside in rendering adequate care to the patient. May I remind you that the body cannot function well if the parts are not complete. Healthcare is like that, one cannot function well without the other. |
drlawizle: And you must be a myopic illiterate for not knowing that whatever position you find yourself there is always room for improvement...if you like spend a century studying your course...that's your own cup of tea...you are only relevant when we call on you....all these your insults against we your leaders is just like my little younger brother trying to flex muscles with me...I will pick my teeth with your bones...this your writeup sums up medical professionals in Nigeria. brace up for more courses on leadership skils because you will soon lead you self. You are talking about picking up my bones with your teeth, I will devour your bones with my own teeth. I like dealing with doctors like you. |

Thank God you wrote that your uncle is an Engineer working in the bank and as such cannot aspire to be the head of th bank. That is thesame way if a doctor is employed as a medical officer in oil company,he cannot aspire to be the head there so your comparism lacks width and you writeup is shallow come up with something better. |
SAPEDRO: I'm sorry, but i think tha type of comparism can't be drawn in this type of situation, it's your car while the driver is your employee, what i 'm saying is if a doctor is tired another doctor can also relieve him off his duty because there's is no limit to the number of doctors that can be trained so their wouldn't have been all these nurses ,Physios and the likes in the first place, talking about car, it's either u re driving it, or your driver, but here we can have doctors to help another doctor and nobody will get tiredyou must be a joker for thinking that other professionals are there to help Dr. They only learn how to help for 4 years and upwards of that they spend in universities? The Nigerian Doctors ego knows no bounds. Go and read harder and become the best in your profession. Half baked doctor. |
lanrefront1: I have never read a load so full self-righteous post on Nairaland like the one i just read above. Are you drunk, a Doctor can do the work of phsiotherapist and Medical Labaratory Scientist and that of Pharmacists. Do you know the work of these professionals extends beyond the confines of an hospital.my dear they can be best described as educated illitrates. That is why their certificate is not recognised outside. instead of them improving on it,they are fighting other health professionals. |
sogodihno: CONCLUSION.MDCAN/NMA has become a fifth columnists working againstthe state. It is sad that MDCAN/NMA and her members who have benefitted so much from the state are now turning themselves against the Nigerian state to become the killer of the Nigerian People, instead of being the Physician who is to be the healer of the patient and people. Nigerians must rise and say no to this medical imperialism by using the instrumentality of the law to stop MDCAN/NMA from inflicting untold hardship on her citizenry. The Federal Government through the Ministry of Health under Prof Onyebuchi CHukwu must act to maintain law and order, now that MDCAN/NMA has told the world that it is because of some of the things she granted to JOHESU on merit, is the reason MDCAN/NMA is going on strike. She should seek an injunction restraining MDCAN/NMA from going on strike just as she did to JOHESU, pending the determination of the motion on notice to know if MDCAN/NMA has the locus standi to go on strike when she is not a Trade Union.JOHESU should be firm to seek a legal redress to restrain MDCAN/NMA in this acts of lawlessness, if the Government does not act. There must be a total restructuring of the Health Sector. All Nigerians from all works of life must condemn these acts of sabotage against the State by doctorsof Allopathic Medicine under the auspices of MDCAN/NMA. The Nigerian Government as a matter of urgency should support the Natural Medicine Development Agency Kofo Abayomi Victoria Island, to reposition our Traditional Medicine to be like what is seen in China, USA, U.K, India, Korea etc. And it should be integrated into the mainstream Healthcare System in Nigeria. Allopathic Monopolistic Medicine should give way to Pluralistic Medicine. Government should create an enabling environment for the practice of the different Medical Systems like, Functional Medicine, Holistic Medicine, Ethnomedicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Homeopathy, Osteopathy etc. All over the world, nocountry is currently solely dependent on one Medical System. Nigerians must say no to MDCAN/NMA that has become anti people. The Nigerian Government should not allow herself to be blackmailed by MDCAN/NMA.She should first and foremost challenge MDCAN/NMA for acts of impunity against the state. The Federal Government should take a leaf from Governor Fashola of Lagos State, for enough is enough. The Government should also take a queuefrom the former governor of Anambra state, Mr Peter Obi.SignedComr. Ajufo,Benjamin Chukwunonso comr. Asiodu,Anthony UcheSecretary,AMLSN Chairman,AMLSNFMC ASABA CHAPTER. FMC ASABA CHAPTERThank you soo much sir for enlightening the public. Nigerian doctor are too egocentric and selfish. Their is no individual or even group that is above the law. They are fighting the law by enbarking on strike but they are fighting a lost battle. They should simply face their profession and leave other professions. |
Thank you very much sir. You said it all |
twoondei: first, i think people should ponder on why thousands of Nigerian doctors troop out yearly to practise elsewhere. the exodus is absolutely unimaginable. ask the average medical student, he wants to leave Nigeria after school because doctors are not well paid here.doctors are not the only one that troop out, other professionals too . All the drs I knw go there to even study not to work. |
sisinaijayeye0: All this pharmacy nurse thing is thrash if you wanted to be a doctor or leader of the health team then you should have studied medicine, soon bricklayers would be telling architectures what to do, people should learn their place and love their jobs simple!you writeup is thrash, mst everyone be doctor? |
sainty2k3: Need not be irritated, u can Google the role of a nurse in hospital settings, the final decision making in patient management lies on the doctor hence the strict curriculum for practicing licenseand what did u read as the role of nurses sir? |
