If some people are pained that Pres. Buhari uses his pensions and earnings to send his kids abroad,they should G n D. His kids wey don dey go sch abroad before he became president. There is no biggy in schooling abroad cuz I have friends schooling abroad. Moreover,the Nigerian education system is nothing to write home about. All thanks to useless past leaders.

I dont know about othet European countries, but Nurses are now been retained in the UK after their studies, you just have to pass a few exams, am not in that line of work, but I know a few members in my church who did a series of exams and are now waiting to be registered..

The government changed the law regarding nurses from non EU countries due to shortage and inability to fill vacancies with EU nurses..

Why won't they stay back when a Nurse working through an agency can make nothing less than £27 an hour, the highly skilled specialist can collect up to £35/40HR as agency staff.. see pictures below..

You know I heard something like that late last year but i felt it was not true because of how strict UK government was in the past as regards to staying back after studies. That is a great development because I will like to live and work in UK someday. Thanks for this piece.

Anambra is the most developed Igbo state..though Awka as the capital may not be up to the standard of other capitals(as a result of Enugu city being the capital when it was East-central state),but it has many cities that are well developed unlike some Igbo states that has their development centralized in a city or two..I don't boast about it cuz it is the fact. I was so embarrassed reading the other thread..Bachelor in Nursing sciences is now accredited and most of the points raised by the br-at was so useless. A little research could have helped a lot and let me remind you the previous Op that such Universities can be seen elsewhere in the world.

Well, we can't condemn an entire ethnic group because of the sins of few people.

I am yet to meet anybody whose arrogance or pride could be compared to an Anambra man.

To an average Anambra man:

1. He is the ONLY Igbo man. He looks down on his fellow Igbos and other Nigerians as if they are less than his standard as a human being.

2. He is richer than everybody and even boast on an empty stomach.

3. He is the ONLY wise man while others are fools.

4. He is from Paris and others are rural dwellers.

Finally, I may be wrong since my analysis is based on ALL the Anambra people I have come across. There may be some humble ones but I seriously doubt it.
