Hello, we need to understand Power is a complex industry and its not Buhari that will cause the change now.
The GENCOs and DISCOs are equally as responsible...believe me even if am President power wont improve overnight because it takes huge infrastructure development and investment of billions of dollars.
For real, light improved in some areas and remained the same in some other area. Where i stay in Satellite Town Lagos, i will say it improved because i get like 12hrs average supply daily. Maybe a few days come without supply though but am not bothered at all because i run on solar.
My personal wahala is for Eko Distribution Company to give me the prepaid meter i paid for more than 3months ago through their advanced credit metering system as i get monthly bill of 10k upwards every month.
Like someone said, Power is more stable during rainy season than dry season. During dry season, solar irradiation is higher.
Once i get my prepaid meter, i will use my PHCN savings to upgrade my DSTV account to Premium and my covenant with PHCN will be fixed charge.
How i wish it was my own house, i would have disconnected entirely from them.
I advice you consider Solar...thats the way to go.

Pls last week, i saw in AIT news flash that the same Minister of Power promised 6,000megawatts by Dec 2012 and now he is promising 9,000megawatts. I dont get it, is it that AIT made a mistake or that the Minister has made a new promise maybe after reviewing that the initial 6000megawatts target is too small.

Its not party time yet. One,Metrodigital is not a new cable provider. Its been existing in Onitsha,Anambra State for several years now but couldnt break into the market due to challenges with the equipments and signal strength which fluctuates alot.
Secondly,that they are not having any issues with HITV now doesnt mean they wont. They are still small just wait until they get bigger.
