You may have to use a flight agent. Or contact the airline and they'd tell you how to go about the payment in Naira

Pleas try and at least land in the airport of the City of your school. You can take your detours when you have landed in your school. It's a red flag that you're not stopping at your school first. Your destination should be your school. They may send you back at the POE if stop elsewhere Without at least getting to the airport of your school

ME: My elder brother of full blood would be paying. He sponsored my Law school after our father's death.

ME: He's a Doctor in the UK. I also have some money of my own (as seen on my i20) which I will be taking with me as a buffer.

VO: What do you do?
ME: I am a legal practitioner at ***** in Nigeria. We are fully into litigation and at the office I settle briefs and represent clients in both criminal and civil courts.

VO: everything checks out

*Hands me the white paper* Though it's like a few days to the 120 days (124th day) to your resumption, I'd be keeping your passport rather than giving you the yellow one and you taking the stress of having to mail it back to us.

ME: Thank you Sir.

*Leaves the embassy*

My passport was recieved 2 weeks later. so anyone going before the 120 days resumption should expect some delays in the reciept of their passport.

Thanks to God for his kindness and grace
All these happened in less than 2 minutes.

I didn't believe I'd get the visa after having no travel history and that being the first question. I dropped my file on the side of the slab and didn't even look at it. No documents were requested.

Tips
1. Fill your DS160 yourself, be as detailed as possible
2. Your story has to make sense to you first.
3. Watch you-tube videos from ARGO VISA, this really helped a lot.
4. You will be nervous and it would be understandable.
5. You will see how ready you are when you start watching others in the interview room.
6. If you have no travel history, try and give a reason (if you have one). A simple 'No' without more may have resulted in a different reality for me that day
7. Lastly, PRAY for GRACE. that was my only prayer point.

There seem to be dates in May for Abuja at the Moment. Good luck

Search Siman Suites on Google Maps when you get to the City Center. It's roughly 5 Minutes to the embassy. 10-15k per night

but i'd still be in school. He's following me basically for support with the kids while I attend classes.

They may still see it as too long for someone who has something doing in Nigeria. Remember that he'd get a 2 year visa even if he says he's staying for 2 days. Leave it at a 2-3 weeks that he's there to help you and the kids settle into a new environment before he goes back to Nigeria to his job.

Hi please I’m applying as an F1 applicant for a phd program in Houston. My dad is the sponsor. He sponsored my earlier Masters degree too at the same University. My husband and child are applying as f2 dependents. Child is 8 months old. My husband has a bar and restaurant in Cotonou and we also have landed properties in Nigeria. My first child was born in Houston in 2019. We have the fully paid receipts and I didn’t overstay. I actually gave birth there cus I had complications during the new year vacation. I have questions
1. Should we mention our restaurant and say that my husband will put someone in charge while he follows me to support me with the kids and help me settle down then he’d come back in 8months time during the Christmas holiday to check on the business…
2. Will they bring up the US child question?
3. Will they ask for his bank statement even though we have the bank statement of my dad who is the sponsor

8 months is a long time. Keep it down to 2-3 weeks tops

How long does it take to get ones passport after been approved. Also how long does it take for vis refused to change to visa issued after sending your passport back to the embassy because you went for interview before the 120days rule. Please it Is urgent. Thanks. Asking for someone.

When the 120 days start to count and you have sent your passport, give it about 10-14 days

Ask the school for an updated i20 or a letter of extension showing they approved you resuming late.

Search Siman Suites on Google Maps. It's close to Alliance Hospital. It's 5-8 minutes drive from the embassy and it's quite affordable.

Hello guys…. just got an admission my COA is 23k I use my brother SOA to collect my i20 but they indicate the exact amount of his SOA on my i20 which is 49k after they have converted it in their own rate. They haven’t made my funding decision yet but have also save over the years toward this step and it’s about 1m+ Don’t know the amount in USA if they convert it again but hopefully maybe it will be 2-3k. Hope it won’t be a red flag for me at the embassy if they see I have a personal funding of that amount. It will be indicated on my i20 because i am about to send my personal SOA.

Personal funding is an advantage if you have been working and have verifiable income. Talk about it in addition to the sponsorship. They'd definitely ask what you do. Find a way to talk about it and the fact that you saved and would be taking the personal funds with you in addition to the sponsorship as a form of buffer

Normally you gotta wait till 60days before your program start date but don't worry, apply for EA. People are getting it even when its not 60days to their resumption.

You should not encourage someone with a fall start date to use Emergency Appointment this Early. It's a big risk that could backfire badly. There are no guarantees with it and towards June-July there would be bigger rush for dates and it won't be a great time to approach without the EA option.

Don't apply for emergency appointment till it's 60 days to resumption. Please play safe with that card. You get it only once per visa application. You may not get another one when you really need it.

In the alternative Mukina2 you could make that fa cup 1 to be unlimited by administering the league, delete FA cup 2 and add everybody in fa cup 2 to fa cup 1. Once the players are up to 36, you close the league. I know unlimited means more than 20
