plaetton: Making sexual advances, or sexual innuendos, even and especially online , to a 5yr old is A CRIME in most societies. , and rightly should be so. Tell us which countries and the cases that landed the offenders in prison |

plaetton: You might not be jailed for making direct sexual comment to a 5yr old, but you will be arrested, questioned and put on a national register of sexual predators. You will be restricted from working in any capacity where children are present or involved. The local police would be notified in every community to move to. You would be able to pass a criminal background check, and therefore would find good employment in banks, government, school boards, hospitals, parks or theme parks. You would be basically ostracized from mainstream society.
What Daddy Freeze did was in order. I can't think of any good father who should not do the same. That's a pure lie. You can be made to register as a sex offender when you didn't commit any crime. |

Hoephase: Well the threat of terrorism, the threat of rape or sexual abuse of a minor all come with punishment. You can commit either of the aforementioned and find out what the punishment is. Tell us the punishment of what the guy said in the Nigerian law |

obailala: I dint ask you whether there was a law or not. I asked you to go to the UK or US and make that statement publicly. Very simple! I'm not in an argument with you. I'm asking you to drop any link or news where anyone was arrested on what they said online on someone's child in USA or UK |
Celebrities › Re: Daddy Freeze And The Problem Of Nigerian Big Men. Case Study by chumakk(op): 3:15pm On Mar 07, 2020 |
obailala: Okay sorry, Nigeria is a lawless place, and that's why the fellow was arrested simply on the orders of a 'big man'.
But maybe you should go to the UK or US and also make a similar 'stupid comment' and let's see if the authorities will regard it as a 'mere stupid comment'. You can also drop a link to any stories of people getting arrested for saying nonsense online. Why do think it took catholic church long time to start sacking priest that abused children? Even though it was happening but they took their time to do a proper investigation. Nigeria is not fully a lawless country but there's no law that says you will arrest people for saying nonsense. That's why many people was opposing the social media bill that the senators was typing to introduce. Imagine what a politician can do with that law if an original citizen can do what daddy freeze did |

obailala: Oga, dont take this the wrong way, but with what you've written above here, I can categorically say both you and that fellow above who assented to your opinion " don't have sense".
If a person in any enlightened/developed part of the world makes a loose terrorist remark, such a person will be arrested, detained and thoroughly investigated, irrespective of whether the person has committed the actual crime or not.
Similarly, in the developed world, if you make such paedophilic remarks like that dude made, you will be arrested, detained, thoroughly investigated and your name could be engraved in the sexual offenders register for life.
Daddy Freeze only helped the police do their work by bringing their attention to the case... and by the way, it was his child involved so it was in his place to do something.. In sensible nations, a Daddy Freeze or any 'big man' doesnt have to be involved before the police arrests people like that. You dont wait for the crime to be committed before you deal with potential paedophiles. I'm still waiting for you to quote the law that said you must arrest someone for making stupid comment. If it was SARS or politians that arrested someone now it is people like you that say it is an oppression |

Hoephase: Op I can see that your brain is paining you.
So until that guy rape the pikin before Freeze abi na Frezzer go call police?
Someday you will become a father I hope by then you would have at least have some sense on how to raise and protect a child. So you think the fellow who was locked up is not someone's child? What would have been punishment if he had committed the crime? |

bigiyaro: people like freeze are actually sadistic people inside, if given the chance, you will be jailed for mentions their name while standing. I blame the police for always belittling themselves for stipends, they should as well go ahead and arrest all these boys that shout "I go kill you" before fighting and and up not throwing a single blow. Exactly my point. |

For people who didn’t follow the story, a man made a comment on Daddy freeze's page that his 5 years boy will be sweet in bed. He was tracked down and police arrested him from the report I saw on Daddy freeze page.
I believe that justice has been done by shaming the guy publicly and his job terminated but you can't lock him up until there's proof of a crime. Some people are calling the guy a paedophile and must be locked up for his comment. You can an intention of killing anyone and can say it but nobody has the right to lock up you up for expressing yourself. If this is a terrorist comment about killing people then the police can question the individual and find out if he is affiliated with any known terrorist organization and he will promptly be released if nothing is found.
Daddy freeze and police officers have broken the law here. Yes, the guy made a stupid comment but we do a law that arrests people for saying nonsense? In a country with law and order, daddy freeze and the police officers will be sued and the guy will cash out big time for an unlawful arrest. His company too will be liable if he is not paid fully before termination.
Let's all remember that you can't lock people up especially if they are poor. This is a standard Nigerian way of handling matter especially for people with money. Our prison is full of people who didn't commit any crime but are locked up by big men like Freeze for wronging them but not the law. Daddy Freeze has fu*cked up here not only as a self-claimed preacher of the gospel but as a thinking person who wants the betterment of Nigeria.
His actions have explored him as a ruthless person. I was wondering about his reaction especially when he was tagging all the bloggers on his page when the guy commented on his page. Yesterday, I noticed he is deleting comments and blocking people who told him that he made a mistake by locking the guy up. Imagine if he has the power of Bishop Oyedepo or Pastor Adebayo? As much as those men are not perfect but evidence has shown that they are more forgiving and merciful than Daddy freeze. Imagine if Bishop Oyedepo took action against Thisday newspaper for publishing fake news about his visa application and remember, Daddy Freeze, mock him too, If Bishop was a bad person, he would use that opportunity to knock him out just like David Ibiyeomie knocked out Kemi Olunloyo. |

nedekid: I hope you stay in Nigeria and not a western country. Say such about a minor in the US or UK and by the time you have to loose your job, have your life destroyed and probably have to register as a child sexual offended anywhere you reside your eyes will finally clear. it is a lie. You can't be registered as a sex offender by saying nonsense. |
