2,400 naira x 3 = 7,200 naira per day.
7,200 x 30 days = 216,000 naira a month. You're assuming #400 per person/meal ? That's not realistic nah |

Politics › Re: Joe Igbokwe Knocks Aisha Yesufu Over National Anthem by ChybuzzDD(m): 4:19pm On Jun 01, 2024 |
ganisucks: A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has berated Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, over ‘disrespect’ for the National Anthem.
A video making the rounds on social media shows Aisha Yesufu sitting while others stood during the recitation of the new anthem at an event.
Most guests at the event were visibly astonished by Aisha’s display, as seen in the video.
Aisha also shared a video clip of the moment on her handle with the caption, “Not my anthem.”
Reacting, Igbokwe, in a post via his Facebook page, said Aisha was exhibiting nonsensical behaviour.
According to him, Yesufu was causing damage to herself and her family by disrespecting the national anthem.
He wrote:
https://www.facebook.com/share/v/WmtbppbNQLsaFFro/?mibextid=oFDknk This idiot is still cursing and abusing people, and making more enemies for the sake of a useless Nigeria that doesn't care for him and the region he comes from. What an unrepentant and unsalvageable fool! |
Agriculture › Re: Why Is Food Expensive In Nigeria? by ChybuzzDD(m): 1:50pm On Jun 01, 2024 |
epainos: The majority of the reasons you mentioned are not what is causing food to be expensive in Nigeria. Although the infrastructure has always been subpar, we continue to receive low-cost food. So you are expecting the government to not tell you to pay taxes. Go to the United Kingdom and the United States and pay no taxes. Lol. Una just wants free things. I am not saying they should overtax citizens, but Nigerians do not pay taxes. Pay your tax. Settlements made while traveling are not taxes; they are plainly exploitation, which is a fraud. However, the amount is minimal and should not increase the cost of food. Be realistic.
The real reason food is expensive is because of forex. Period. Our economy relies on the dollar. Inflation affects all aspects of the economy, including food production.
Furthermore, the usual seasonal glut due to a lack of infrastructure and well-organized marketplaces will continue to have a negative impact. This issue has been there for a long time. I believe that the government can only solve it if the private sector enters the industry. This can happen only when the economy is good. So, it is still back to the same thing.
Meanwhile, you should discuss the positive things that are happening right now. We should be grateful for good road connectivity the government is presently implementing throughout the country. Poor road networking has always been a major issue, and they are gradually addressing it. If we continue at this rate, we will be able to solve the problem in about ten years, allowing our railways and waterways to be more efficient as well.
Overall, the world is going through a difficult time. It is not affecting Nigeria only. Rather, now is the time and opportunity for us to correct any mistakes we have made. One of the errors is what this OP still wants. Subsidy and "awoof" must be reduced to the minimal level that is the most optimized. Your parents and grandparents are the ones who put you in this mess because they loved "awoof." And any small payment...na aluta. The government kept borrowing too to maintain that "awoof" thing. And then, politicians too kept on stealing... even they are still stealing till date. Lol. Anyway, that "awoof" thing must stop.
The government is meant to make policies and not pay for everything. Government cannot keep buying you seeds, buying gasoline for you to power your irrigation, buy you nutrients, etc. These are the solutions OP wants... and forget it. Let us all be responsible, at least for the next generations coming. Let us pay the price our useless parents and grandparents refused to pay. Those ones are just useless. Extremely useless set of generations. They had it all free... and they still destroyed it all. A very useless generation.
Go and face your senators and house of rep...mount pressure on them so the government can be forced to implement good policies. Na only the executive arms Nigerians cry about...meanwhile, the legislative arm is where we should really work on because that is where laws are signed. Also, we need to make sure we get a good judiciary.
OP, Naija problems pass wetin you wrote. In fact, I will score you zero over a hundred for the rubbish analysis. Lol. Unfortunately, the way you reason is how millions of Naija reason, and this is why we aren't making progress. Most of you don't understand the real issues that need to be addressed. Instead, na "awoof" you want.
Awoof go bend una finally. Stop looking for awoof. Ask people who understand the real issues that need to be addressed and join the wagon of the right cause.
Good luck! Rubbish from an ass-licking, political tout |

CodeTemplar: Glut.
Do you know so many people are rushing to plant melon and cassava because of the prices in the market. These are people who hardly consume cassava o. So what happens when cassava floods the market during harvest time? No flooding of the markets will occur at any time. Nigeria has excess population that will always make any supply look inadequate. Besides, there will be no way everyone will be a farmer; so that situation of supply far exceeding demand won't arise |

Family › Re: An Online Skill Or A Manual Job by ChybuzzDD(m): 7:31am On Jun 01, 2024 |
Jozilinn: Good evening nairalanders I have an issue that's getting me worried so I want to share out for further advice, I work as a teacher my current salary is 25k but the past 3 months I have been learning an online skill and it has been going great. It's not a negative online skill just page promotion and data services for pages and I'm actually making more than the supposed salary sometimes I loose money sometimes I make more... Now the issue is that my sibling think I'm lazy although I'm the one she's always borrowing money from me every time. I went for another school interview and I know the stress attached I won't have time for my online skill anymore, and the expenses of feeding will be x2, my two nieces one in school the other at creche plus myself and her is not a joke, if I'm earning 30k, 10k for creche the other one is 15k for fees now I have checked the feeding and besides they won't be attending the school I teach. In a week snacks and feeding for them both going and back home for us would be like 10k. Plus the stress, lack of concentration for me although I have Saturday and Sunday but it would be for lesson note. At the end of the month credit would be sorted out and another time to feed from hand to mouth.
The circle continues, early morning activities infact extremely stressful plus the usual complaint here and there besides that I'm an an o level when I went to the school to ask he kept referring to me as an o level, and I know they hardly pay o levels in schools. Right now she's saying people are looking at me like I'm useless and jobless and don't want to work but I have so much in my mind, after teaching for good 3 years and I have nothing to show for it than the few clothes and one shoes haba now, and the worst comment I here is that 'na to manage am it's something ' right now I'm going to another interview but I don't want to go I want to stay focused doing what I'm doing because anything that would make me unreachable those people will start looking for other people. What are your advices for me because right now I need words to encourage me . Why are you taking care of your 2 nieces from your meagre salary?? What happened to their parents? The same questions also apply to your sister You should make sure you're already firmly standing before lifting/carrying others. Issues still dey carry you and you dey carry other people along. Person wey dem dey carry no dey carry another person, please. |

Streak47: It's already so obvious, darkness Vs light. US & the Zionist nation are satan HQ. So unfortunate for US, a progressive nation as theirs with real traditional American values have let the Capitalist & Zionist to rewrite their values and what they stand for. I could remember in a documentary, "the men who built America", how Roosevelt, fought those Capitalist head-on, that John D. Rockefeller had to fled America for the time being. The American people are good and enterprising but they've allowed this so called Satanist to infiltrate their system & values.
What we're seeing is the right side Vs the left. Countries like Russia, that still try to uphold their traditional Christian values, other Islamic states, Countries like China, North Korea & some African States and their traditional values against this so called Rainbow nations(LGBTQ), like US, Israel & some other European puppets anxious for the arrival of the Anti-Christ by creating instabilities, suffering, economic hardship, pains, degeneracy to create a low frequency perfect for the arrival of those evil entities.
You can see what's happening with the Nigeria economy and what happened to Libya. Unnecessary suffering from poor policies despite the abundance of resources. Things might not get better. Those guys IMF, I wouldn't be surprised might be part of the ring. This entities don't want any Govt with an ideology of subsidising things for its citizen. It's alien to their ideologies. And now, they have their puppet.
I still believe someday, might not be during our time, a great reset is just imminent, in the form of nuclear war. And we'd be back again to horses & swords and this present civilization and it's tech into oblivion.
I agree with most of ourtruth247 post. Like 99% and there about.
**Like earth is a prison planet, yes I agree. Because from Biblical and Islam, Adam & Eve where cast away to earth for their sins, that man would continue to suffer.
**Other creations aside humans (aliens, genies, demons, angels), also agree.
**A great reset, also agree.
** Capitalist, Globalist, Zionist, also agree.
** Advanced civilization also agree.
** Low frequency - high frequency, also agree.
** Stages of consciousness, also agree.
The only bone of contention is the deniability of a supreme being, God. Like nope, this whole universe is too complex for things to have evolved by chance. And you don't need to practice any religion to know God exist, the signs are all around us.
