The issue at hand is hydra-headed. @OP, you failed to tell us if the woman your friend wants to marry was legally betrothed to the father of her two children.

Your friend's mother is foreseeing looming danger but your friend is reasoning with his third leg. He should sit down with her mother and analyse the pros and cons involved in such a marriage.

Although, he is not going to live with her mother for the rest of his life, the unforeseen resultant effect might consume him if care is not taken.

Remember, those children belong to someone else and their father might come for them tomorrow when fortune smiles on him. At that time, your friend might have spent a lot of money training them.

My advise:
1. Tell your friend to have a round table discussion with his mum on this issue in other to x-ray the grey areas surrounding it if truly he loves the girl.
2. Find out why the lady separated from the ex.
3. If the answer he gets from 1&2 above are positive, he should involve the families of the girl and her ex concerning the children. If the family of the ex and the ex himself are not interested in the children, he should persuade them to sign agreements forfeiting those children.

Life to me is a heartless play of pain and sorrow with no place to hide. I've seen it all from betrayals, emotional abuse, sleepless nights, discrimination and pain. I don't experience happiness anymore. Lost people close to me to the villian called death. I just feel like literally no one cares about me, my family members are na who dont care about my feelings. Am dying slowly on the inside everyday with no one to call my own. I just feel like the grime ripper is coming for me. Feel your pain bro, you're not alone in this. One thing I find to be difficult to understand is life. Most times, the good ones always find it very arduous to make it and live their dream lives.

But alas.... We ain't giving up. Just look around you, think of those little things that put smiles on your face unconsciously and live with it.

My dear, you won't understand. There are times you feel that everybody has rejected you. You look very miserable and frustrated and the only option is to end it all.

As I type this, I'm in that situation. I've been praying in my mind not to do it. The only thing that keeps me going is my wife and kids. When I look at them, I cry because of the way they will feel when I depart.

Please, let's not blame those that choose that part. Life can be very difficult, frustrating and unfair sometimes. Truthfully, I'm just tired.
