Religion / Re: Lazarus Muoka Orders The Arrest Of Naija’s Craziest Comedians For Expensive Joke by chydon22: 1:18pm On Jan 16, 2017
TunezMedia:
Fast rising comedian, Naija Craziest has found himself behind bars after mocking members and pastor of the popular, Lords Chosen Church in his latest skit.

The comedian was apprehended after his video went viral and he is currently cooling his heels in Panti waiting due charges laid against him.

In his YouTube video, he shared footages of Lord Chosen members dancing and rolling themselves in the mud while worshiping God.

“When members of a church think that an apron is powerful enough to protect them, they will roll in the mud and confront armed robbers.” He said

And afterwards, he started shading them for purchasing the Apron they often wear for 1000 naira while he claims the church members are enriching the pocket of their general overseer.

While Naija Craziest won't be the first comedian to mock Nigerian churches this will serve as a reminder to others not to forget the Bible verse, Numbers 12 vs 8.

Pls Nigeria comedians should behave themself, let them always leave churches in their joke.
Pls always avoid Gods wrath in whatever u re doing. just respect ur creator.
For Lords chosen, this is their method of attracting pple so dat de can convert souls to christ.
Pls lets stop criticizing and judging churches. rem bible said, do not judge and ye shall not judge.
Thanks
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Help Me Urgently Before I Lose My N-power Opportunity by chydon22: 2:04pm On Dec 26, 2016
moniqute:
Good day Seun, all Mods and fellow Nairalanders.

I write this message with a feeling of sheer bitterness and pain as I'm at the verge of losing my well-deserved N-Power opportunity on the altar of incompetence and corruption, if nothing is done soon enough. Obviously I am not enjoying my Christmas.

My name is Monica Egbean Abolagba, a 26 year old lady living in Effurun, Delta state. I'm an electrical engineering graduate of FUTA, who served in the NYSC between 2014/2015.

In mid 2016, I applied for the Federal Government initiated N-Power Corps programme, took the online assessment test and was listed as one of the successful candidates. Below is a snapshot of my selection success.

Next we were directed on the next steps through a PDF e-book on the N-Power portal which I read and adhered to. So I updated my details as required and have since been checking my dashboard on a daily basis for updates on deployment as instructed.

I kept checking everyday only for someone to tell me a few days ago that delta state was done with the physical verification process of which I was not aware about. I quickly rushed to the LGA only to confirm the aforementioned.

My good people this is unfair. I've been jobless since I finished service in 2015 and I was really hoping on this. I've been crying since I heard this. I don’t want to miss the opportunity. We were told to check our dashboard for information which I did diligently every single day and yet no information came as can be seen from my dashboard screenshot below. What was my crime? Is it a crime to want to serve my country? I'm hoping that something can still be done. I am calling on well meaning Nigerians to assist in getting me verified or reaching out to the N-Power authorities.

Thank you very much. Lalasticlala please help me push this to front page let me get help.
Miss Monica, it's too early for u to start shouting...
Am N-power insider, don worry there is supplementary verification for every n-power who missed his or her schedule verification date, ... U should start publicising wn ur colleagues must ve deployed to dare various PA... But since non ve been deployed, pls keep calm u re nt only one involved. Thanks for choosing n-power.

Family / Re: My Wife Absconded With Our Kids by chydon22: 10:24pm On Oct 03, 2016
taiiremide:
My wife absconded with our kids (2 boys). We’ve been married for 4years plus. I did everything a good husband would do to please his wife, but she never satisfied. Before we got married, I’ve a good job and she knew my worth, after marriage things isn’t as rosy and it used to be, I lost my job and I was able to get one after 2 months but the salary is 120k excluding other freelance jobs I do online.

We’re unable to save. We spent most of the money on food stuffs, I hate seeing her hungry. She called me one faithful night and reminds me of the premises I made before we got married about the car and supermarket I promised her (I can’t remembered making such promises), but I still encourage her to be patient with me, that things gonna be fine. She never supported me as she’s not working. I remember I gave her 450k to start a business; she was pregnant at the time so she rejected the money because of her condition. I added some money and I bought a car, I needed the car to hustle for contracts, I cant be jumping from okada to marwa, nobody gonna take you serious. A month later, I got a printing contract from one of the best companies in Lagos, the condition is to use your money for the contract so I sold the car to print the job, I bought a machine unfortunately the machine packedup, i lost the gain and money for the car but I was able to delivered the job more that expectation but I lost huge amount of money. She always complaining ever since, when I tried to encourage her that things will be fine she will ask me ‘when’.

She treats my kids as if she wasn’t the one that brought them to this world, she always using negative words for those kids, I later realized she doesn’t love me, if she love me, she’ll equally love my kids.

4 months ago, she went to visit my younger sister in osogbo, she saw the way my sister’s business was moving fine, she fall inlove with osogbo, she sent a message thus ‘dear, guess I am in love with Oshogbo is peaceful and cool’. When she came back to Lagos, she said she wanted us to move to osogbo, after much persuasion and consideration I succumbed. We moved to osogbo, I spent more than 300k. 2 weeks later, she started complaining that osogbo is boring. I was so mad. I had to risk my life travelling from osogbo to Lagos almost every week.
On the 16th of September (a day after I celebrated our last born birthday) she left for Lagos for her sister’s wedding, I gave her 12k for tfair and other expenses. I called her a week later to remind her that our first son gonna resume school the following Monday, that’s when she said she’s no longer interested in the marriage, that I should move on, I called her mother, she said I should come see her but my family stopped me, since we never had a fight and I was not the one that sent her packing that she should be the one to come.

I’m missing my kids, they’re my life, I don’t know what to do.
U causes everything u re passing tru, u used moni and material tins to lured her into marriage, u neva tell ursef truth about live.... So wen d moni gone she equally show u her true color...... For dose of u singles, neva entice a woman with gift making her to see u as a big dude u neva been.. marriage is nt d same as boy/girl friend it's a reality of life...so show ur true color if she is urs, she is urs

Car Talk / Re: Symptoms Of A Bad Or Failing ABS Speed Sensor by chydon22: 9:20am On Sep 23, 2016
AutofactorNG:
Common signs include the ABS Light coming on, decreased stopping time, and less stability under icy or wet driving conditions.

The anti-lock brake (ABS) system uses sensors that send data to the ABS module which will activate it during wheel lock. These sensor mechanisms are installed at the wheel, and is usually made up of two components. There will be a reluctor wheel or tone ring seated on the axle which will spin with the wheel, and either a magnetic or hall effect sensor which works together to send data to the ABS control module. Over time, the reluctor wheel may become dirty or damaged to the point where it can no longer provide a consistent reading, or the magnetic/hall effect sensor may fail. When either of these components fail, the ABS system will not function properly and will require service.

Different cars will have different ABS sensor configurations. Older vehicles may have only one or two sensors on the entire vehicle, while most new ones will have one at each wheel. Individual sensors at each wheel allow for more precise readings and operation, however, it does leave the system prone to more problems. When an ABS sensor fails, there are usually a few warning signs that will warn you that there is a problem.

1. The ABS Light comes on

The most obvious sign of a problem with the ABS system is that the ABS Light will come on. The ABS Light is the equivalent of the Check Engine Light, except only for the ABS system. When the light is illuminated, this is usually the first sign that will be displayed indicating that there may be a problem with the ABS system, and perhaps an issue with one of the system’s sensors.

2. Brakes take longer to stop car

During heavy braking conditions the ABS system should automatically activate to aid in slowing down the vehicle, and traction loss and skidding should be minimal. While we should try to practice regular driving habits that avoid heavy braking situations, if you do notice that the vehicle is taking longer to stop under heavy braking situations, or is experiencing traction loss and skidding, then that may be an indicator of there being a problem with the system. The ABS system is typically made up of only a few components - the module and the sensors - so a problem in its operation will either be with the module or the sensors.

3. Less stability under icy or wet driving conditions

Over time, most drivers will become familiar with how their vehicle handles under certain conditions, including slippery conditions, such as driving on wet or icy roads. A properly functioning ABS system will minimize any sort of traction loss, especially under wet and icy conditions. If when driving under wet or icy roads you experience any sort of tire slipping or loss of traction for more than a brief moment when stopping or taking off, then the ABS system may not be functioning correctly. This is typically due to either a problem with the module, or more likely, a problem with the sensors.

If your ABS Light comes on, or you suspect you may be having a problem with one or more of the ABS sensors, have the vehicle inspected by a professional technician, such as one from AutoFactorNG, to determine the exact nature of the problem, and if any repairs need to be made. They will also be able to replace your ABS Sensors if needed.
