ggrin: BAMBOO One day I decided to quit…I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality. I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with God. “God”, I said. “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?” His answer surprised me. “Look around”, He said. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?” “Yes”, I replied. “When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. In the second year the fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo. “In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. The same in year four. “Then in the fifth year, a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern, it was seemingly small and insignificant. But just six months later, the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle. “Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots? I would not quit on the bamboo.. I will never quit on you. “Don’t compare yourself to others.” He said. “The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful. “Your time will come”, God said to me. “You will rise high” “How high should I rise?” I asked. “How high will the bamboo rise?” He asked in return. “As high as it can?” I questioned “Yes.” He said, “Give me glory by rising as high as you can.” I left the forest, realizing that God will never give up on me. And He will never give up on you. wow ggrin... #thanks Jb |

PapiWata: There is another White House in Akure town, the capital of Western Nigeria Republic.
The Aare Onakakanfo lives there with his 20 wives and 55 childrens. Only money people can enter there. why do I always get this feeling you are Jakumo. |

chiedu7: I actually did address even my own tribe in my original posting, when I said what next the Igbo Man, TIV man , Efik Man or what? it's just unneccessary, knowing how stup¡d some kids here can be at times...you should go through the comments already & see what I'm talking about. Even the people concerned identified him as a man from MD not a "Nigerian man". |

Paroman: This OP is an obvious slowpoke, cause he intentionally named the thread to support his tribal views. The title of this thread should have read '' Nigerian man invades White House'' not ''Yoruba man invades White House'' lol the guy is an id¡ot. It's actually "Maryland" man, but that's not even in the headline over there. |
Politics › Re: Yoruba Man Invades The White House In Washington Dc by cirmuell(m): 9:56am On Oct 23, 2014 |
omenka: Your title ruined your story. the best these days is to just ignore these tribal m.orons. Even the US didn't link the guy to Nigeria talk more of his tribe. |

But for the fact that you didn't author this, I would have called you a m0r0n...that said, your whole post is nothing but utter crap. Stop quoting the Holy Bible out of context, if you don't understand something get down to knowing it and not rubbish it.
And the bitter truth is I'ld rather die than accept your religion. Live and let live 'cause as a christian I don't give 2 phucks 'bout who wrote your holy book or what it talks about and I don't go about trying to discredit anything about your religion. You this bunch of insecure, never satifisfied m.orons. |
