If you were observant enough, you will notice am not against making the thread fun filled! I mean check my previous post and find an example of what sincere enquiry and honest information looks like.

dropping deliberate lies is not the only way to keep a thread alive? Well, I hope you you had fun on the 4th and on the 7th? You will still have fun all through next week. Am sure at the end of the week if nothing happens another clown will come and type "next week". Such submissions are not helpful, it only raises ones hope and crumbles it.

Let me advice you guys, if by tomorrow morning you didn't see any mail, just know that no mail for that day. Cos for the sake of effective mail delivery, PSC tend to dispatch the mails by midnight.

I just notice say the NPF no too know wats going on, how I wish Na from the PSC u enquire, Na general info wey all of us no dem dey speculate.

I tried calling the number on the mail PSC sent the last time, only to realize the number is fake. I also sent an enquiry to the email address they provided. The message failed to deliver. That was why I called the NPF PPRO number.

I think we just need to face other activities until email starts rolling in.

So, I got tired of rumors and "hear say". I went to Npf website and lifted the phone number of the PPRO, force hq, Abuja(name withheld). I just finished speaking with him now. He is the most cool headed police man have ever spoken with. He took his time to politely explain stuffs to me, when I enquired why we have not gotten any update from them. He said:

"The exercise is being handled by the police service commission, but the arrangement is to conclude the recruitment this year, they will definitely proceed with the next stage of the exercise when all is set, you will be contacted via various media".

I could have probed further, but I don't want to abuse privilege, so, I thanked him and hanged up.

My brother the two recruitment are independent of each other, the programs have separate calendar, budget and agenda.
Don't be surprised if NPF round up the whole exercise before DSSC.

Police okay mental test for Lagos, Ogun officers

The Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos State, has concluded plans to carry out a mental test for policemen carrying firearms within the zone, which covers Lagos and Ogun states.

The Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Abdulmajid Ali, who said this, noted that the test was to maintain standards in the handling of arms, and police activities in the states.

Ali, who received the police medical team from Abuja, said the purpose of the visit was to perfect arrangements for the mental test exercise.

He emphasised that the test would assist in promoting principles of people-oriented policing as directed by the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris.

“Units such as the Police Mobile Force and the Special Anti-Robbery Squads are to attend a workshop which will mark the beginning of the medical exercise,” he added.

The medical team, which comprised of experts and trained psychiatrists from the police medical department and Melville Healthcare Centre, Abuja, was led by the AIG Medical, Stella Akintade.

The next stage of the recruitment process is Medical screening, which takes place at the zonal command headquarters. While the final phase of the recruitment is National interview, which takes place at Force Headquarters, Abuja.
