Jheypeel: Seconded Bro I'm also experiencing same thing on my note 5, I use to think it would stop with time but now it's like a routine, though not much of a big deal now becoz there is light but waht bout when there won't be and the ish go happen. I normally would drop my phone at 20 percent at night, only to wake up the next day and find 7 or 5 percent left. So waht I just do is, whenever I'm done for the day, I just reboot the device and leave it like that. Then the ba3 stays normal, you should try that solution Wow, thanks for sharing this boss..... I will try that too coz I live in an area of light being on every 3 days and I need to conserve power. Thanks boss |

genius43: SOT not bad in my honest opinion My worry had remained the idle battery drain.... leaving it now to sleep with data off and cleaning done, I might wake-up to see about 10percent loss in battery by tomorrow morning without operating it wch is quite abnormal to my own view sir |

tidedroid: maybe its the current update cuz mine has been experiencing heating and battery drain(especially with a mem card). currently on android 10.2.2.0 global version I'm also on the miui 10.2.2.0 update and I've been worried why the battery drain in idle has been excessive and also more battery drain on 2G than 3G and 4G wch looks absurd |

genius43: Exactly what I was about saying. If your data is also on coupled with unstable it network there would still be battery drain. My data is always off when not in use sir. Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by CitySect1(m): 9:17pm On Apr 28, 2019 |
Osyxcel: When not using your phone, set your network connections to 2G. Unstable network could be responsible for the drain. I'm sure if you check your battery stat, you'll see that the network connection is taking a chunk of it. I've done that severally, Infact it consumes more power on 2G than 4G and 3G. The battery stats remain normal as its always the screen that takes bunch of the battery while network falls around 3percent max. Advice please oooooooo |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by CitySect1(m): 9:15pm On Apr 28, 2019 |
messymelly: it could be from your charging port or charger try another charger before changing charging port The device is a new one and I've used both its charger and another charger of similar volt (original follow come charger of an INFINIX device) but yet still persists. The charging port charges very well |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by CitySect1(m): 7:23am On Apr 17, 2019 |
genius43: That's quite abnormal. Mine consumes more power while browsing on 3G than 4G and 2G but consumes less power when on standby on 3G and 2G than 4G.
But there are many causes to battery drain, probably poor and unstable network leading to the phone pushing more power to the radio to search for signal.
Always leave your non data SIM on 2G it helps to conserve battery. Me I have an alternate phone I keep my SIM I use to make and receive calls so I usually turn my other SIM off when not in use.
It can also be as a result the recent system update. you can trying draining your battery then switch off and charge up to 100%(I have experienced this once and this did it for me).
You can still ask more experienced people like GrandMufti to give you Alternate solutions. Thanks boss, I really appreciate, I will try draining the battery again sir. let me hear ur view please Cc Grandmufti Cc Fibonnaci Cc Mescachmartins Cc IKON Cc Gurus in the house |

MeshachMARTINS: it depends on the network stability (strength)since unstable network drains battery..always turn off the data....if you cant, go to developer option nd set to " no background process " ....and clear ram(running applications) before u sleep ..... dont put the phone under pillow....give it space so that .breeze can be blowing it too .. . my 2 kobo My network was off truout the night and the all processes were cleared before sleeping boss. still don't know what's happening and the 4G signal was very strong |
