You can claim 3 years experience if your job role aligns with that stipulated on ANZSCO code for Mech. I understand your situation as am a Mech Engr too awaiting assessment result, but like Bnimz advised, do what you can and be optimistic that the economy will deem mechanical a required occupation come July.

I frankly don't see how you can get this before july.. Not to discourage you, but the ceiling for mechanical is almost full... And except your undergrad was in Australia or you have 3 years of experience, I'm not sure where the extra 5 points can come from to give you 70 for faster invitation...

So I'll advise you to take your mind off July and proceed at a normal pace. Even if it is removed from sol, some states will continue to sponsor it.. At worst, you'll get 190.. So you're fine... And yes, your first order of business should be to draft your cdr and submit for Assessment with that ielts 6.5 ... And book another test for maximum English points... Cheers

You should book appointment for Monday. Perhaps your biometrics was not complete or something is missing or not done properly.

yes oo i will see to that, although i called the teleperformance to know what happened and they said nothing went wrong but they wiil check on monday, i also screen printed the biometerics confirmation email sent to me after my biometerics and uploaded it i my immi acct just to show i had done it before. but i will follow it up on money better.

Grant : 22nd Feb
After an argonising few weeks of waiting I finally got the response I expected.

Anyone have an idea how Brisbane is in terms of jobs etc.

School resumes on the 27th, but might be late by a day or so. Ask any question u wish I will gladely reply. Thanks guys

Y not mail the school telling them about your visa status and request for an extension,my husband did same last year and got one week extension,so he had it handy for when the VO requested for an extension letter to issue his visa

Yes but specify it by typing the name on the folder..
@ the passport. .scan the full long page...

Thank you so much. but i want to know again if i should upload my birth cert and the deceleration of birth affidavit. i did that affidavit because my birth cert has no cert. number due to it was a private hospital not govt. finally, pls did you scan your passport photograph front and back? and what were the documents you uploaded.
