The biggest importer in the world is the US. The country I live in, the UK, imports more in a year than the whole of Africa does.

An industralised economy means people have more money in their pockets. The wealthier Nigerians become, the more goods and services they can afford which will mean greater consumption of Western products.

The present situation where we are so poor that the whole of Africa only makes up about 2 percent of world trade does not serve anyone's interests.
