I just got my passport request
My passport is valid for only 8 months
That means if I submit it, I’ll be given 8 months Canadian visa

I proceeded to renew my passport online and immigration denied my application saying I can only renew a passport with less than 6 months validity

Please help me, I don’t know how what to do again

January and February applicants let the good news continue rolling in...

Many people have gotten decision, but they're not ready to share the news, even those that got positive decision. But why? Few of them will only come here to ask of how to go about passport submission. it's unfair! Kindly share as for others to learn.

Sent mail twice to MP - first in Feb, received reply that processing timeline elapses by June 26th 2024, follow up mail sent June 26th. Never received a reply till this moment but approval came in early hours of today.

Applicant travel history - none, rejected Canada TRV 2023.

All still waiting will receive their good news.

The way you guys react to comments here get as eh be. For you to put in an application requesting for a visa. definitely you have a plan for your decision (not everybody intending to japa) and everyone knows well that this decision is not guaranteed because granting any type of visa is a privilege and not a right, and that is more reason why you truly need to put in all efforts to get the right information in other to know what documents to put in and what to stay off from, then you make payment and the long waiting time start. And after all this stress you are still asking this type of question:

"It seems you are quite passionate about your pursuit of a Canadian visitor visa"
How won't one be passionate of his/her decision?

Of course! That's all what a person need at the waiting time in order to be a goal getter...

I hope you are not considering 'japa'on a tourist visa. Emigrating to Canada on a tourist visa can be highly stressful and fraught with uncertainties. It's important to plan carefully

You have proven it all that you are not a fake, nor agent who is trying to freak neither misrepresenting and finally you have nailed it that Canada embassy still giving out visa even to those without any travel history never bn out of Nigeria not to talk of USA, Australia, UK, Europe etc...
You are a very good example of no travel history.
God will honor you.
And I use this as the point of connection for those still waiting for decision it shall be a positive outcome. IJN. Amen

Okay. To add to it. I’ve no travel history. Actually that is one of the reason I was denied 2017 with purpose of visit and I didn’t request for GCMS note up till today. Truth is in my first application 2017 I didn’t submit statement of purpose; didn’t know it was compulsory then, so the questionnaire then at VfS office didn’t give me enough space to defend my application.

Actually I believed in your timeline but can you please screenshot the PPR mail sent to you as to clear the doubting...

Yeah I have been following the thread but have not commented. I forgot my last email login I used to register on naira land that’s why I decided to use another email to register today actually. And im not an agent actually.

To anyone laying emphasis that Canada is no longer issuing visa to anyone who do not have USA, Australia or UK visa at the moment. All an applicant need is to first seek for proper knowledge on the right documents to submit and do away from any form of fake and misrepresentation documents, declare any USA refusal "if any" then always pray for God's mercy to prevail. That's all!

I was invited to for both tourist and an anniversary which the date has passed. I used an agent. I’m a salary earner and have landed property. Balance was around 25m. I’m single pringles. I didn’t really submit much just SOP, account statement with bank ref letter, landed property, payslip though I don’t earn much, flight and hotel reservation.

1). What are the document submitted?
2). Going for Tourist or Visiting or Conference?
3). Are you married?
4). Are you a Salary earner or Business owner?5). What was the balance on the statement of you submitted?
6). Did you use an agent or Did it yourself?

Hello House !

I started following these thread after my submission as i wanted to be sure i had done everything correctly.

I submitted my application officially 26th of January on the new portal. I still had my former biometrics valid so I didn’t bother to get a new biometrics done although i paid for biometrics along with my application fee.Its been months of waiting & finally, I got a passport request mail yesterday and a letter on my biometrics. I have the option of submitting a new biometric, if i want.

I had a valid US visa & UK visa as well as expired US & UK visas attached. It took 4 months & about 3 weeks.
