Seems he's still hidden the one he used for reason solely known to him.

Travel history or no travel history many are still getting positive decision.
You ain't predict IRCC... All sort of scrutiny here won't encourage them to share the outcome of their decision here.

Congratulations..more are rolling in ..guys are getting visa once application is in order..IRCC don't discriminate..once applicant is qualified they issue visa irrespective of travel history whatsoever!I wish all waiting applicants success!

In fact I’m tired. I have stated that the can plus I was inquiring about was for someone else. But oh well, I rest my case. Why would I even come here and lie? What exactly will I gain from it? Am I an agent ? No. Well I appreciate the scrutiny but then again I now understand why people don’t like to share timelines 🤦‍♀️

To my little understanding, what they are trying to tell you is that you submitted a fake Statement of Account.
So it's now left with you to prove that what you you submitted is truly a genuine one!

My suggestions as follows;

1.) Go to your bank and reprint the one you submitted earlier (not the recent one).

2.) Get it stamped by your bank.

3.) Request for a back-up letter from your bank stating that the statement is authentic.

I went for my biometrics in January, I just got a message from ircc asking me to provide more concrete information concerning my bank statement. When I applied I had about 15m in my account which I submitted the bank statement for but I have been making expenses from that same account as I'm a realtor and I recently had my wedding and other personal and career expenses. I currently have about 2.5M in the account and I got this message from them this morning asking me to defend my bank statement within 7 days. What do I do please

Does it mean Conference carries more weight than Tourist/Visiting

It's no surprise they have repeatedly given you the visa. From all indications, they could also see that you were not intending to japa.
When I worked in Nigeria then, my colleagues and I routinely went to the US for conferences and training. Not one time did they ever deny any of us. The reason was simple. Our organisation never recorded even one case of one person running away. Hence, as long as you were applying using our organisation, you got the visa upon application. No hard questions. This visa ultimately gave easy access to the US and some even went there to have their babies. But everyone always came back.
The embassy knows your organisation already and it has a good reputation. So, you shouldn't have many problems.

I submitted my application on the 16th December and did my biometric on 21st December. But my brother who is inviting
me over in Canada (visit VISA) updated his work record on March 4. I want to know when will my application start counting?

If this should be the case then the visa fee too should be paid after positive decision instead of scamming.

Ofcourse Canada government will put a cap on temporary resident arrivals by fall 2024 a plan to reduce Temporary residents in canada by 5% due to pressure in housing...
More restrictions on temporary work permit, visitor visa, study permit which is already capped and permanent resident arrivals which they are doing already...

Province and territories with immigration minister of Canada 🇨🇦 has concluded this in a meeting on May 10th 2024
