What has nigerian govt done to improve our broadband and secure in? They launched a satellite that got missing. The private sector in IT has managed the broadband to the level it is though not secured! How many times have you been disappointed by atm machines? These things are failling the charges we pay are not justified.
Tomorrow sanusi will ground his private IT company that will manage broadband for this so called e banking? Is that how to develop a nation. Is twelve months enough to correct internet facilities when we don't even have light talk less of e banking abi na cashless system?
These people just want to divert our attention while they divert the money.

@j12 if u think this is a measure to stop curruption think again. Afterall any cash transaction above 500k by an individual in a bank is supposed to be investigated but reverse is the case. U can go to any bank in nigeria with 50m cash to open an acc and instead of them to question u, they give u vip treatment. I wonder why we beat about the bush instead of fighting cuppuption. Or better still we let it be and stop making noise. My candid opinion

We pay tax, we provide basic ammenities for ourselves, our national income is embezelled by the government, they allocate loans within themselves, now they are complaining about the cost of maintaining cash and they still want us to go cashless so we can start worshiping banks with useless charges.
The banks are not even efficient now we still use cash not to talk of when we go cashless.
