Promise to marry can be upheld in a court of law in Nigeria as long as the plaintiff/petitioner can corroborate it as stated in d Evidence Act. She can even corroborate it with direct evidence such as 'Sms,Bbm Chat,Watsapp Chat and even Love Letters dat was exchanged btw both parties.
But hardly wil u see such case in our court sha
