They first filed a motion to evacuate the court order; meaning they explicitly asked the court to reverse itself on a judgement it gave few days ago? Why are they wasting their time on frivolous prayers when they should concentrate on stay of execution? Now the stay of execution hearing has been adjourned to Thursday, 7th, leaving the state with no governor at all.

you can apply for stay of execution from the court or court of appeal. Ikpeazu applied at the court of appeal so i dont know where this information is coming from.

But this 'order' show that the judge is acting out a script and should be cautioned.

Obi, Ladoja were NOT reinstated simply because of the appeal lodged by the occupants of the office as then was.

the purpose of the stay of execution is simply to avoid a situation where candidates will be taking turns in office within short period due to conflicting judgement.. hence, the final verdict is always executed

The last time I took that kind of undertaken/oat was when I was in secondary school when Igbobi college my school, Bishop Howells, CMS grammer school, Saint Luke, Ajayi Crowder, Morocco comprehensive and Angus memorial school were shutdown by Lagos States when they were fighting, that was year 2001.
