to be honest, he kept quiet because he can only go to an extent. He is to stay to the end of the show, and has nothing to lose. So It will be bad if he does something to the point of causing another housemate a strike, and in the long run possibly affect their duration in the house (disqualification?)
He can ruffle a few feathers to shake them up, and let it play out. but any further than that is provocation and goading. He has to be very careful while carrying out his role.

But I’m still disappointed in how quiet he quickly became..even though I understand why.

I think Chizzy is keeping quiet cos they already pulled the disrespecting women card. If he keeps engaging her, he will be made to look the bad person.
