Most students from these schools don't have business with Jamb or Waec. Their curriculum is international standard. They're basically vying for Ivy league schools, or other institutions abroad. These students are as smart, if not smarter than these crammers we have here. Best in Waec, First Class, but they're leading the country astray. |

Romance › Re: I Dated A Muslim Guy And Now I Prefer Dating Muslims To Christians by ClassicEvilSpir: 6:46pm On Jul 13, 2024 |
siofra: So, after dating Muslim guys and Christian guys I've finally come to a conclusion on which is better.
Pros of dating a Muslim guy 1. They're providers through and through. They take providing very seriously (at least the ones I've met) You can comfortably be a housewife if you marry a Muslim. Unlike Christian men that will make you contribute to the upkeep of the household while still doing other domestic activities like cooking, washing, taking of the kids singlehandedly. With a Muslim man you can hire maids and still be a housewife.
2. They will never touch you inappropriately. This is what irks me when it comes to these so-called Christian men. They will say they are Christians but see nothing wrong with fornication. If you don't have sex with them, they break up with you. Very disgusting!! Muslim men will hardly touch you if they're not married to you much less have sex with you. They will have the desire, you will see it in their eyes but they will not act on it. They have better self-control than Christian men.
3. They don't joke with marriage. What I mean is a Muslim guy can get married to you within 3 months of meeting you. He won't engage you for 10 years like many Christian guys do.
Cons 1. Many of them are very misogynistic (not all though). They believe women belong in the kitchen (literally). They still believe you should be seen not heard.
2. He might beat you up and justify it with the Qur'an and unlike Christianity that frowns on domestic violence, Islam doesn't really frown on it.
3. They commit adultery too much. They are not into fornication but adultery? O mai Gawd!!!
4. He's likely to marry more wives in addition to you. Many women do not like this. I don't mind as long as he's a billionaire.
I'll never marry a Muslim though unless he's a billionaire and won't make me change my religion. This post is proof that more than 50% of women would rather be with someone who might be misogynistic, polygamous, and sometimes harsh, than that stupid nice Christian Boy. This is honestly good tho. Man is polygamous by nature. Westernization and Christianity made them woke, turned them to pandering men-boys hybrids.. |

Some Nigerians write rubbish as books thereby making it clear they're writing for money, not to impart information, or intrigue passion. Can't even compete with these western texts. Lots of Low IQ comments. Flooding is not peculiar to lagos alone. Lagos being a costal city, makes it more susceptible to flooding. These people write about lagos being a shithole, yet criticise the effort of the government when the time comes to solve the problem from the grassroot. Do your research, lots of cities around the world, and even in Nigeria are experiencing flooding, but lagos has a better media coverage. I think those comments mocking lagos are basically from trolls, nuisances, or unintelligent individuals. |

Lot of these phones with multiple camera setup use poorer sensors, than their one camera sensor predecessors. On the aspect of ram, I believe the newer os and the recent apps are more ram hungry, and given the fact multitasking is the minimum, one wouldn't want to minimise an app, then return back only to lose all progress, hence more ram. However though, some brands are guilty of subpar ram, and even fake camera; a phone appears to have 2 cameras, but only one is genuine. |

It's just your mind playing game with you.
Overtime you have conditioned it to believe their is trouble on that route and you are now taking it through that same route. What do you expect? Fear & anxiety will definitely kick in.
Plus the fact that your system is currently full with high levels of THC which cause increased anxiety in users, you definitely will loose your sanity in that moment
You could notice that you felt better when you left the check point, that was because the object of fear and anxiety was out of the way. Na why the average Nigerian no dey reason well. Bunch of sentimental, and puerile people. Always looking for spiritual justifications in occurrence that can be explained with logic and reasoning. They ain't got no logic, reason why they're in dis situation. Shits crazy.. |

If this world will be destroyed, it will be in the hands of Genz or gen alpha ... Those two are spoilt rotten, they don't know anything about life besides mobile phone and attention.
How can a prince decide to steal phone if not that there is something wrong somewhere ... How much the phone be self. Gen-z are like this, thanks to their rotten parents and elders in society who failed to replicate what their parents imparted upon them. Corruption, vices and the likes in this country was through these so called elders, then they turn around and start to criticise their offsprings; the product of their regression. |

Nokia Is a substandard phone. Crazy how the mighty has fallen. Now under the ownership of HMD global, a Chinese company with plans to launch its eponymous brand. I literally used nokia 2.3 years back. I bought it upon launch@slot because I thought nokia was the brand of old. Few months upon usage, multiple charging port issues. One day, the phone turned off, and never came on. Cause of death: panel issues. I conflicted with hardware and software issues during my time with nokia. Who are they trying to deceive with their nonsense flashbacks? Never again. |
Education › Re: I'm Confused About Nile University by ClassicEvilSpir: 6:35pm On May 10, 2024 |
According to a nile University Alumni on Facebook
If you have a sibling that has worked right enough to have at least 320 in UTME and 5A1s in WASSCE, I recommend that you have them apply for the 100% tuition scholarship that Nile University of Nigeria has to offer them. I am a recipient of this and it changed my life by miles!
Till today, I don’t know what processing University fees feels like. I don’t even know what the fee is currently because that was never my problem, I just know that it was 1.2million per semester in 2019 and that the University paid about 10million for my entire undergraduate study. And given my 4.95/5.0 CGPA result, they’ll be paying for my multimillion postgraduate education if I accept their offer.
That could be your sibling’s or kid’s story too. If they have committed to excellence well enough to earn this, it is only fair that they reap the benefits of their right choices in an institution that will also give them time to develop themselves.
This information that I’m sharing with you for free, my Dad sweatily coughed out millions in the span of six years in fees to get me be a student that can be in a top-level Secondary School where this information could be shared with me. That tells you the cost of quality information. Make use of this rightly. Share with those that might need this.

jeromestarks: BEWARNED! THIS IS A LONG READ.
I have noticed that at some point in every new relationship or friendship I started, the person must test my love for him/her by making me jealous to see my reaction. Check out the following cases.
Case1: When I got admission into the uni, I met this great guy that i shared hostel with. We became close friends; sharing food together, doing assignment together, washing together etc. We even went to classes and church programs together. These went on for about 4 months or so. Suddenly, this guy wokeup one beautiful Saturday and called a guy in the next room to escort him to the launder! I was like "what!" We use to go washing together. Why call this guy and not me? I didn't say it out. I just wondered and pretended not to care. Before I knew it, he had started cooking and sharing food with the other guy. Soon, he became best friends with this other guy. I kept my cool and moved on with my life. We graduated and everyone went his way. Note, we didn't fight. We do talk once awhile but it wasn't as it were.
Case2: I went for an interview and I met this guy there. He had a car. We got the job and became close friends. This guy always drove me home after work. We would talk about politics, women, alcohol, life goals etc. This went on for about 2 months then suddenly, one evening after work, this guy called another colleague of ours and offered to ride home with him. I wanted to still follow them since I didn't plan on going home alone (I didn't hold transport fare). To my surprise, this my guy said he was not going home directly. That he wanted to see someone first. The other guy hopped in his car and they drove away. They got in his fvcking car and drove away. Demnn! I thought in my head "today ehhh, you go trek. Who say make you no get your own car?" I was heading towards the exist when one woman in her 50s offered to drive me home. Lucky for me, she was going to see her son who happened to be my neighbor. Guess what? I got home and met my friend's car parked at his gate. We met with my friend the next day at work and he seemed to be very observant of me. Trying to see my reaction. I greeted him normal. Smiled and walked into my office. Since that day, our friendship cracked. I didn't follow him home anymore. I later learnt, through office gossipers, that he wanted to see my reaction that was why he ditched me that day.
Case3: My girlfriends. I have dated a handful of women and I can confidently tell you that at some point in our relationship (3-4months later), ALL of them tried to make me jealous. One girl I dated on campus hugged a guy in my presence and looked at me as she did it. I didn't flinch. Days later, this girl called off the relationship.
Another girl I dated in my neighborhood told me the names of guys crushing on her. She showed me text and chats they sent to her. I didn't flinch. I pretended not to feel threatened. Smiled and said " these guys really like you ooo". The following week, this girl called of the relationship.
The third girl woke up one morning, called me and said "if another man asked me out and he is very cute and has a lot of money, what would you do?" I replied " nothing! If he's better than me and you chose him, I will be happy for you. I can't compete or fight my fellow man because of a woman" She literally hissed on the phone. The following month, we broke up.
There was this girl that I dated too. After some months into the relationship, she started to form busy. I would call and call, she wouldn't pick up. She would wait until I called like 5 times before she would pick and say "I'm kinda busy now please" I stopped calling. Days turned to weeks. Weeks turned to months. And that was it. After two months, she called me and I replied " who is on the line?" She hug up and that was the end.
Another girl who was my ex. Started showing me green light (Calling to ask how I am doing, asking if I have eaten, texting me , blah bla blah balablue). So I asked her if we can chill at my house. She quickly told me that she has a boyfriend. I said ok no problem. I requested for the guy's number, called him and we talked like friends. I then called her back and told her that the guy is a great guy. He will be perfect for her. I sent the screen grab of my chats with her boyfriend in which I told him to keep her and take good care of her because she's like a sister to me. The moment she saw the message, she blocked my line.
The latest one was a girl whom after we had been together for over 6 months, started to tell me about a certain guy that was very caring to her and how she had grown to like him a lot. She told me he makes her laugh and calls her all the time. In my mind I was like " this one want me to struggle to impress her. You dey whine?" One day, she brought up the guy's name as we were talking and I said "Omo, this guy will be perfect for you ooo." Boom! That was the beginning of the end of our relationship.
Who do you think is the problem. Is it me or them?
