I’m curious , I want to ask the processing time for Canada visit visa now , I heard it doesn’t take long anymore , how true is that?
Can anyone tell me the precise time

I applied for my parents July 11 got PPR July 31.
Used regular GCKey portal. When I applied, processing time was 700+ days, now its 500+ days.
They have a family member (child) in Canada- I dunno if this made it quicker or if it’s faster for everyone regardless of the processing time posted on IRCC website.

I applied for visit visa for my parents and would like to submit their passports via courier.
I’m a little confused about the vfs payments.
1. Is the transmission fee per person or per package (i.e. both of them)?
2. Is the 1 way courier fee per person or for both their passports to be returned?
3. If the fees happen to be per person - do we separate the payments for easy processing/identification or just one big payment?

Hello everyone! Silent reader here. I applied for my mum (5 yrs visit visa) and biometrics was done Nov 10 - Ikeja. Got courier dispatch email from TLS Jan 05.

Is there any way to know the decision made before getting the passport?

Nothing. The "agent" is family, with zero experience in student visa but does visitor's visa. In fact we didn't submit any LOE, SOP or police clearance for the TRV app. But is a Masters degree nd maybe dats why i got it.
