1F30M4:The training is about 2months. He's started sending applications for job adverts. He was offered a job actually but the salary would be based on target met monthly. Any month he meets target (marketing job), he would get paid, else no salary for the month. He doesn't like marketing and target job. So he's not yet decided if to accept it or not. What do you think? |
NairaLux:Thanks. Please I edited the post, kindly read again and share your view |
Hello, a fresh graduate just relocated to Lagos in search for job and doesn't have a place of his own for now but squatting with some friends. It seems he's not that comfortable. He saved some money from his previous job in Enugu before relocating to Lagos in search of a better job. Presently, he's thinking of enrolling in a cyber security training and ethical hacking tracking with his savings. Should he get an apartment first before he gets a job or he waits until he gets a job before he rents an apartment? For now, he's squatting with some people and not really comfortable. What do you suggest please? |

He saved some money from his previous job in Enugu before relocating to Lagos in search of a better job. Presently, he's thinking of enrolling in a cyber security training and ethical hacking tracking with his savings. He's also thinking of renting a 4bedroom duplex, then leasing out the bedrooms to house-seekers and then making money from it as a form of business while he stays in one of the bedrooms and runs his training program. Should he get an apartment first before he gets a job or he waits until he gets a job before he rents an apartment? For now, he's squatting with some people and not really comfortable. OVB123:No, the Urhobos aren't stingy. |
Before I used to think Igbos are the most stingy people in Nigeria until I came across the Isoko people of Delta state. Stinginess is in their genes, they inherit it. Isokos of Delta and Edo people are irritatingly STINGY. Agbor and Ukwani people are wicked and stingy but I don't know if they're as stingy as the Isokos. Isokos are not wicked, their only problem is stinginess. |
Hello, who has a TVS keke napep (double PG hole) of not more than 4months used for sale with no issue? If you have, please share photos and your price |
Few weeks back, I shared a story of a friend who gives out keke napep to riders and how one of the riders threatened to have seized the keke over minor misunderstanding. Although, at least the keke napep was retrieved by the owner and the rider came begging for days. From the whole issue, everyone's opinion fell back on the agreement had. I was privileged to see the agreement recently and I must confess, I need to enlighten people who want to make an agreement. Every lawyer is a business man, just looking for money to offset their bills, so they would always be at your service and might even force you against your will. In as much as they can guide you, I appeal you be the one to state most of the clauses you would want in your agreement if you are leasing any of your property to someone. From the agreement prepared by a lawyer for my friend which I read, it was just too latent and there were not much clauses favorable to my friend at all. I asked him if he had ever read the clauses, he said no. I asked who drafted it, he said the lawyer. That's it, There were lot of loopholes in the agreement such that the riders would be advantaged and could insult or threaten my friend, no consequence for such based on the agreement. Going forward, I would advise before a lawyer prepares an agreement for you, please first sit down, think deep and write down your DOs and your DON'Ts. Yes, in writing an agreement, you have to be sentimental in your favor, it is your property and you are the one to state the rules you want to guide it. I just bought a property recently and from the lessons learned from my friend's mistake, I drafted the clauses of the agreement myself and I am very satisfied with it. |

Adewale1603:Don't you know the meaning of free-to-air? |
I don't understand these channels in the Strong SAT 4975A free-to-air using DSTV dish. The channels are made up of church programmes, apart from MBC 2, TVC news and NTA, the other channels are rubbish. They even get scrambled occasionally. Please I need Channels TV, AIT, Silverbird, Africa Magic, MBI, and other interesting channels showing movies. I don't want any religious channels at all. The Bollywood channel doesn't show interesting Indian films and the Korean TV doesn't show Korean dramas. How do I go about it please? I tried blind scan, it multiplied already existing channels thus making them repeated. |
valnelly:It's not advisable to connect an antenna cable directly to your smart tv decoder. Thunder-strike can affect the tv through the antenna |
Keke riders in Warri are needed. Applicants must be very neat, residing inside Warri and have responsible guarantors with significant means of livelihood |
meobizy:Ahahaha |
Presently, I'm not seeing any reasonable channel on this Free-to-air decoder. My smart television (TV) has an inbuilt free-to-air (FTA) channels but I have DSTV dish with an external free-to-air decoder named STRONG. I am not seeing any reasonable channels except MBC 2 and TVC news channels. The others are crap! I mean bullshit!! I did blind scanning yesterday on my decoder, the channels number increased to about 900 but all were repetition of what had already been added, multiplying themselves. Can't I get channels for good Indian movies, Korean movies, Hollywood movies, CNN, better Nigerian movies, ChannelsTV, Aljazeera and AIT on any free-to-air decoder? Are we getting bunch of crappy channels because it's free? |
Please which of the free-to-air (FTA) decoder brands have you tried and found satisfactory? I'm having STRONG, OxCarcia, and Digistar here |
Ournolly:So sorry to hear |
Adewale1603:I can't take the risk, I'm connecting to the free to air decoder, not the inbuilt please. And sorry for the post, it's supposed to be free to air decoder, not DSTV decoder. Although I'll be using the DSTV dish |
Hello, I wanted to connect DSTV satellite dish directly to my LG UHD smart TV inbuilt decoder but the installer advised against it. He said it is better I use the an external free-to-air (FTA) decoder, that I shouldn't use the television inbuilt decoder. He said if I connect the DSTV cable to the inbuilt decoder on the TV directly, the the television might be affected if thunder-strike affects the dish (the DSTV pan). So he advises I use the cable to the external FTA decoder and connect the FTA decoder to my television. He's making a very important point and I commend him for that. But I was thinking we could get an arrestor to resist thunder-strike from affecting the tv? |
bmdmix11:Yes, I've bought two (2) TVS tricycles today |
daddy001:The original one I got is 55" - 275k, smart TV with inbuilt decoder for free to air. I saw lot of beautiful features in this The fake one is 49" -125k plus waybill (5k) totalling 130k. |
daddy001:Thanks. You're right. I discovered it's a fake TV. I've gone to swap it with a bigger original and I added money to it. Imagine the price of the fake happens to be even too much for it being fake. I'm disappointed. Here's the original one
