My friend who just traveled to UK on Thursday on work permit visa said she started applying since January and was getting rejection until she was finally offered the job after over 9months of submission of application in different platforms. It's not easy you know.

She finally got a job as a caregiver in UK and arrived London last week. Before now, she was a baker, she didn't study medicine-related course, but a social science course in the university. She gave me hope.

Kindly note that only Senior Health care Assistants are been sponsored. HCA is not a skilled job. It required nothing. That is why only senior carers are sponsored. This is just one occupation under this visa route. Physiotherapy and other health Care workers can apply. For you to get a job as a senior Carer, you will need to have NVQ3 at least and get a job.

My friend traveled to UK on Thursday last week. She was sponsored there by her employer who offered her a job as a caregiver.

There are sponsorships for Caregivers, Health Care Assistants, etc. They give CoS

Just arrived the UK today, via Abj to Doha to Heathrow London, it was a very smooth and seamless journey.

Info, please print your COS and employment leter handy and be ready to defend your employment, the The Border officer nearly ruin my happiness because I didn't have printed copy of my COS and I couldn't login to airport wifi and show her.

pls prepared and remain confident don't panic the journey is worth it. Good luck to you guys.

Experience(s) is/are important bits on a CV which potential employers look at. Therefore, I would expect you actually earn the Experiences rather than just adding them. Specifically, you know you would be working with vulnerable persons and least you want is your inexperience to get you into trouble.

Would previous employers be contacted? is left for your new employer. Some may do, some won't.

Most employers train their new employees and they usually state it that having no experience doesn't matter. They said even if you've had experience, they will still train you to their standard. Remember, they would be giving you their rules and policies to work with

I used academic. Ielts ukvi general or academic for suffice for skilled worker visa.

Please be specific of what you used.
Was it IELTS UKVI Academic or IELTS UKVI General Training test you used? Which of them?

How can you say "I used IELTS UKVI Academic OR IELTS UKVI General Training test"?
Does it make sense?

I think IELTS test is of two types viz: Academics and General Training. The General Training is what is used for work visa. IELTS UKVI for General Training.

UKVI means UK Visa and Immigration.

We have IELTS UKVI for Academics and IELTS UKVI for General Training.

So when you're talking about IELTS UKVI, always try to be specific.

You can do IELTS B1 for Health worker. is the most easiet one. you only do Speaking and Listening. within 10minutes you are done.

Nothing absolutely nothing, when I got my offer, the recruiter told me to be sure my visa is approved on first application I should use solicitor of which i refused and told him i will do it myself and visa will be approved.

It's good to know the need for the solicitor is not compulsory or a must. What a relief for those of us without money.

So let the job search begin.

That's a screenshot of part of our conversation. Sorry, she didn't state who gave her the solicitor.

The Company gave her sure entry with the CoS. The CoS was given to her before she started other processes.

You won't just get CoS and go like that, I think there are some things immigration lawyers would put in place.

Not easy at all.

She started applying for jobs since January this year and was getting rejected. Until finally she got the job offer. She didn't use any agent and didn't pay any money before she was given the CoS.

The company only provided her with CoS. They directed her to a UK Solicitor who facilitated her other documents needed and she paid about £2000 for that service to the Solicitor (immigration lawyer)

So she searched for job for over 8months and was rejected by many establishments there.

A friend of mine was given a CoS for caregiver job in UK recently and she's processed her work permit.

She entered UK yesterday, 24/11/2022.

She gave me hope.
