Kinghert:My friend who just traveled to UK on Thursday on work permit visa said she started applying since January and was getting rejection until she was finally offered the job after over 9months of submission of application in different platforms. It's not easy you know. She finally got a job as a caregiver in UK and arrived London last week. Before now, she was a baker, she didn't study medicine-related course, but a social science course in the university. She gave me hope. |
Clarine:My friend traveled to UK on Thursday last week. She was sponsored there by her employer who offered her a job as a caregiver. There are sponsorships for Caregivers, Health Care Assistants, etc. They give CoS |
vanod:Which of the organizations gave you the job please? |
leef2022:Most employers train their new employees and they usually state it that having no experience doesn't matter. They said even if you've had experience, they will still train you to their standard. Remember, they would be giving you their rules and policies to work with |
leef2022:Hello, don't the recruiting organizations request for hospitals where one might have gained little knowledge during their background check before they decide to move forward with the applicant? |
leef2022:Alright, thank you. But when applying for the jobs, didn't you add one or two hospitals as where you've worked before? If you did, what about if they are contacted? Kindly reply. I am asking to know please |
AskGod07:How is the PTE exam please? I checked gov.uk and saw one can use it as test of English certificate. |
Davidonkonsults:Please be specific of what you used. Was it IELTS UKVI Academic or IELTS UKVI General Training test you used? Which of them? How can you say "I used IELTS UKVI Academic OR IELTS UKVI General Training test"? Does it make sense? |
leef2022:Please how much did you people pay for your local hospital recommendation letter and maybe their local Certificates here just to add for adding sake? |

leef2022:Please which of the IELTS do you think is appropriate for UK work visa?
|
leef2022:I think IELTS test is of two types viz: Academics and General Training. The General Training is what is used for work visa. IELTS UKVI for General Training. UKVI means UK Visa and Immigration. We have IELTS UKVI for Academics and IELTS UKVI for General Training. So when you're talking about IELTS UKVI, always try to be specific. |
Kunsoft:Have you used that one to travel out of the country please? I intend taking IELTS General Test for workers immigration |
vanod:1) Did you write it before applying for the jobs? 2) Did you attend any preparatory class before taking the IELTS exam? Kindly answer the two questions please |

vanod:It's good to know the need for the solicitor is not compulsory or a must. What a relief for those of us without money. So let the job search begin. Did you take your IELTS before you started applying for the job or you were offered employment first before you took the test? |
Hummel94:We are in this together o. It's not easy. Her own gave me hope. Have you taken your courses and the IELTS? |
klbakare:That's a screenshot of part of our conversation. Sorry, she didn't state who gave her the solicitor. The Company gave her sure entry with the CoS. The CoS was given to her before she started other processes. You won't just get CoS and go like that, I think there are some things immigration lawyers would put in place.

klbakare:Not easy at all. She started applying for jobs since January this year and was getting rejected. Until finally she got the job offer. She didn't use any agent and didn't pay any money before she was given the CoS. The company only provided her with CoS. They directed her to a UK Solicitor who facilitated her other documents needed and she paid about £2000 for that service to the Solicitor (immigration lawyer) So she searched for job for over 8months and was rejected by many establishments there. |
Uzland:A friend of mine was given a CoS for caregiver job in UK recently and she's processed her work permit. She entered UK yesterday, 24/11/2022. She gave me hope. |
If you can share a three (3) bedroom with a very quiet person in Refinery/Jakpa road, then let me know. You will have your own bedroom with wardrobe, toilet and bathroom. You both will share the light bill, it's prepaid meter. No room mate. It is not for couple because crowd or family is not needed. A quiet, responsible and neat person is needed irrespective of gender. A working class who doesn't like noise or dirty. A stingy person who can't take responsibility for anything is NOT needed. You will pay N170,000 The compound is very neat and big, fenced round with gate. Only 4 apartments in the compountd |
Uzland:Alright, thank you. Can Nigeria HND certificate be used in processing the work permit? |
henryobinna:Hello, after getting the Alison caregiving diploma, what site did you use in searching for jobs? I have completed mine. I have been applying for jobs on indeed.com for over 3weeks now and they're refusing me a space on the excuse that I have no right to work in the UK for now. |
Hello, I just finished some diploma courses in Health and Caregiving, I would love to know which of the websites I can easily apply for caregiving jobs in the United Kingdom. I have tried indeed, been sending applications for almost a month now but they're unsuccessful majorly because I have no right to work in the UK according to them and they're not ready to sponsor visa. If you have a genuine link, kindly share with me. Thank you. NOTE: Admins and mods, this post expresses concern for due process, I see no reason you should delete it. It is not a crime to ask for a legal way to get a job abroad. |
luvlyoracle:Come with your bed, clothes and kitchen utensils. It's just a place for a hustler to stay. |
If you can rent a bedroom with a wardrobe inside a 4bedroom flat, you will share the sitting room with the owner of the place who stays alone. Any gender is okay, but only a single person. No roommate in the room. Location: Refinery road /Jakpa axis Cleanliness is very important. You can message me. If you know you are dirty and not concerned if a place is dirty, please your type is not needed. You will pay N150,000 yearly. |

The person must not come with many load abeg, it's just to stay and hustle. Not to raise families. Only one person to stay in the room. Location: Jakpa and Ekpan.
