The candidature of Gen. Buhari is beyond Petty-Party-Politics. Even if He stands as an independent candidate, Nigerians will troop out, mobilize and massively vote for him. So all these Jonathan's media attacks dogs(Vanguard Newspaper chief culprit should shut it lipsrsealed) Nigerians are now wiser.

Hardfact: I dont care what people really think but I sure do know our problem is not just PDP alone. These 'opposition' groups you see themselves are very much part of the demon haunting us. That's why you find that you are disillusioned where they are in office, they cant blaze that trail of good governance and judicious utilization of resources like they mouth it and the masses yearn for.
The Jonathan may not be a very good choice but I'm yet to see a much better alternative among these oppositions. Before they shed their IDs they must first shed every greed and selfish motive behind their moves.
And northern PDP govs involvement confirms a more Northern than genuine agenda. Same North has been wielding political power without much impact for long like 'born to rule' while the south must produce the resources.
This is even as Nigeria trudges on as one country which basis we can barely define, fraught with so many structural imbalances . . .
Let the opposition assume power first, before this your lame excuse!

omarky: I don't blame this man for whatever he vomited. I blame our government for not finding last solution to this Boko boys. Our government are so useless that they politisize the insecurity challenges in this country. No one is in support of the God foresaking killers, but xtains shouldn't put laws into their hands by killing muslims. 99percent of our pastors and imams are religious biggot. This man have not said anything to crucify him, everybody is entittle to his or her own opinion

lacasa: These are undoubtedly pressing issues that are reality and need to be given the deserved attention and solution.

And thank God he criticised and asked questions of mostly the Northern and Muslim Leadership concerned and not only the christian leaders partaining to this.

But, is it me or does any reasonable viewer recognise the mis-leading title of this threadhuh
Oga Lacasa, you disappointed me with this your heartless response. Please learn to call a spade by its name for the sake of our children. I rest my case

Politics › Re: Why Igbo Will Not Win Presidency In 2015 by Clerverly: 12:15am On Dec 27, 2012
The major problem we have in Igboland is that we pander so much to any Government in power whether this is out of sheer lack of political sophistication, cowardice or inability to
speak fairly with one voice or combination of the above, the political scientist are yet to unravel this. The log goes;
Shagari--------------Igbos voted massively
IBB------------------Cheiftancy Titles here and there!
1993 Elections------- Igbos supported IBB candidates.
Abacha----------------Strongest base was East.
Obasanjo--------------- Igbos supported him against our own Ekwueme
Yardua- ---------------won all the states in East
GEJ- -------------------Largest support base is in the East
I always laugh away people's ignorance when they claim, Igbo support Jonathan out of tribal or ethnic lines because had Yardua been alive today, he would have enjoyed the same massive support as Jonathan from the Igbo. We are too timid and crude when it comes to playing Nigerian politics, always not wanting to upset the apple cart. Until we do that for once, other regions will never respect and give us our deals when it comes to sharing the spoils.
