These two, see the Iranians as strategic allies in the middle east. So..

4) Another angle people may need to register, is the fact that with Russsias massive influence in Persia, Mr Putin might engineer a huge crises in the middle east to force the west to lessen their concentration of military treachery in Ukraine .
