Am currently using a tecno phone but planning to get a new phone soonest...
But my reservation with this brand has always been its lifespan, I feel a Samsung product has a better lifespan than tecno and am not used to changing phones very often since I've been a longtime user of Nokia which which we know how durable Nokia is.

I've read a lot about current improvements on tecno especially the current ones in the market and I must say its very fascinating.

If their picture quality, durability, battery and processing speed can improve then I'll buy tecno again. My budget is about 40k

I doubt Nigerians can ever be satisfied, someone Gave u a very honest review imo una still no gree. I am a very major fan of pictures. Any phone with good picture quality has my vote and honestly that quality up there if it was taken from a j8 then it's amazing. It's not impossible to even believe, I used to have a phantom a+ and even with its own drawbacks it had a decent camera. And now even their designs have improved. I think The name Tecno will forever be hated by many regardless of what they bring out.

I Quite Agree. Tecno Phones aren't Criticized because of the Quality of their Products but for their name. But the Very Few Who try to use their phones have good tales to tell. It's all about trial and the Boom J8 is a great phone to try with

I'm wondering why nobody is saying shìt about tecno releasing a supposed flagship phone at the rate of 41k but based on an old OS. This device was debuted not long ago but it's on Lollipop and Mashmallow has been out there for 6 months plus.

Well OP, That's Your Opinion. I think Tecno Phones are Good and their Recent Products are Fantastic. I don't think Nigerians Hate Tecno Products like you just Opined, Bashing here on Nairaland don't Necessarily mean it's the Entirety of Nigerians.

This can't be Entirely True, Especially when there are Lots of Options available In the Market. Pricing should be Determined by The Manufacturers when they consider the Cost of Production as Well Shipping them down here In Nigeria.

Well, In this Economy. Getting a Phone Above 35k is Even Expensive. But there again Phone Like Tecno Givers Variety and Quality. Especially those who can't Afford those Super Expensive Ones.

I think Tecno Phones are Moderately Priced like someone said Initially. They are those Range of Phones you get Because you can't Afford the Bigger ones like iPhone and the Rest.
