MrBright212: This is the most unpopular nation cup ever. Don't know if it's because Super Eagles no longer reliable... Many don't even sen the nations cup. Wish them all the best though You already stated the reason. If they’ve been performing great, new’s channels and Social Media will be tipping them as favourites and their new’s will be all over the place. Apart from Osimhen, no other Super Eagles player has much international interest in the world of football. |

Romance › Re: A Hard Reality About Casual Sex And Sexual Health by Cmanforall: 7:15pm On Dec 19, 2025 |
Dpsychologist: One uncomfortable truth many don't like to talk about is the real health risk that comes with multiple sexual partners especially when basic sexual health practices are ignored.
When people move from partner to partner without regular testing or proper treatment, infections don’t just disappear on their own. Untreated STIs can linger, worsen, and become easily transmissible. Sometimes, you don’t even need a diagnosis to sense that something isn’t right : unusual odors, discomfort, or recurring symptoms are warning signals, not “normal.”
This reality has made many people cautious not out of judgment, but out of self-preservation. The fear of contracting an infection is real, and it’s valid. Sexual freedom without responsibility eventually creates consequences for everyone involved.
This isn’t about shaming any gender. It’s about accountability, hygiene, and health discipline.
Regular testing. Prompt treatment. Honest communication. Respect for your partner’s well-being.
Those are the real markers of sexual maturity.
Ignoring infections doesn’t make them disappear, it spreads risk. And no moment of pleasure is worth long-term health damage.
If we want healthier dating and sexual environments, responsibility has to be part of the conversation not an afterthought. Social media and content creators are now promoting sex sex sex. These should be regulated! |

Bluntemperor: Did you read your own News upside down? Did you hear about the Dual Citizenship that was Not allowed Under Congolese Law,so where is your PATRIOTISM? How do you interpret their laws for them. Worst case scenario, their Senator will change it or the president will say he used his authority to grant them that exception. Do you think Troost Ekon should be eligible to play for Nigeria? He has German passport and guess Nigerian passport as well. Germany opened up to allow dual citizenship last year. Now this may be brought up against Nigeria by other countries. Let NFF not point one finger on another while 3 fingers are pointing to them

E dey vex me even.. It’s understandable anyways. But it seems NFF wan use this Worldcup send their babes to the US Anyways, FIFA will not disqualify Congo, because if they do, then all those matches played by the so called ineligible players will be written off. This means Nigeria may not benefit from it and it will complicate the entire process |

Even if it’s true, it’s not automatic ticket for the Eagles Some of these actions bring unnecessary hatred’s for Nigerians abroad. FECOFA has hit back at the NFF after Nigeria petitioned FIFA over the eligibility of six DR Congo players, including Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Axel Tuanzebe.
Calling Nigeria “bad losers,” FECOFA said: 🗣 “If you can’t win on the pitch, don’t try to win from the back door.”
The controversy has stirred online debate and keeps Nigeria’s 2026 World Cup hopes in the spotlight.

Tho I like Iwobi but as soon as the AFCON is over,he should consider taking this move too He should have resigned from Super Eagles even after last AFCON. He seems to be selfish and want to win major trophy with the country. Okocha’s absence was felt, but Iwoni’s absence won’t even be noticed. Let him retire. Victor Moses was better than him, but chose to retire from Super Eagles to also give others a chance. I don’t know what Iwobi is waiting for. Super Eagles should no longer depend on past glories . Some would say he played for Arsenal, but that was in the Past |

CJStarz: A Brigadier General was killed like a fowl 2 weeks ago, we all carried on as if nothing happened, why won't Tinubu promote another, though not qualified,to replace him? This is one country where the military has lost its glory! You don’t promote someone in military to replace a deceased. The general has Coursemate with same rank, if his duty needs replacement, one of them will be appointed. So with this your argument, will the ADC be moved to NorthEast should he be promoted as a general? PS: I didn’t realize earlier that your comment was sarcastic. |

Do you know how football scouting works? Football scouts have a wide network and every good player in every decent league is watched by scouts.
For you to say that the home based players haven’t had the chance to go on trials clearly shows you know nothing and aren’t worth having discussion with.
Every decent home based player has gone on several trials in their career. Mark my words when I say this. I repeat. Every decent player in the Naija league has gone on trials and back playing at home because they just were not good enough.
I have said this to you before and I will say it again. It is not luck that sees a player play at the very high level for years in the premiership and other top leagues. For those boys to be chosen out of the millions that pray to be in their spot, they are good!
Football is a team sport. If the conditions are not right and they don’t gel well playing as a team, it doesn’t mean these guys are not good. Try and borrow money to buy a decent tv and beg someone to pay Dstv for you so you can hear the commentators praise the likes of Iwobi, Bassey, Chukwueze, Lookman and co that you guys think are horrible.
Una go just open mouth waaaaa dey spit okpata You want to do that to you Fǎtħer? |

Ikechukwu Ejibo, arrested in 2019 during a police raid and held without trial, was released on 3 December 2025 after 6 years and 3 months in Onitsha Prison for a theft charge he denied, exposing flaws in Nigeria's overcrowded and delayed judicial system where thousands await trials.
Photos show Ejibo with supporters outside the facility, his stern gaze sparking humorous replies questioning his innocence, with memes like laughing Michael Jordan amplifying the post's viral spread to over 1 million views.
The thread's mix of empathy and banter reflects Nigerian online culture, while the author's promotional follow-back post capitalises on the engagement to boost followers. Sad |
