The correct number is 112 not 122 , the journalists themselves should have corrected him , this is my issue with our current crop of journalists they are as ignorant as the viewer themselves, it's terrible .

CrimeRe: Moment A Thief Was Caught Trying To Escape Using An Electric Pole (photos, video) by Cmanforall: 6:48pm On Jan 03
Nchoje34:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pYXkfPGPBE
In this wild and trending video from Ghana, a suspected thief (dubbed a "newly graduated local thief"wink thinks he's found the perfect escape route by scaling a tall electric utility pole after being caught stealing.

But his plan backfires spectacularly when a fearless community member – the ultimate "award-winning climber" – swiftly climbs up barefoot, grabs him by the leg, and forces him back down despite his desperate resistance.

Once on the ground, an angry mob surrounds the thief and delivers brutal mob justice with sticks, fists, and branches amid chaotic shouts from onlookers, including men, women, and children.
This intense clip highlights the raw reality of vigilante action in some communities. Viewer discretion advised – contains violence.
Don’t even try to steal from Nigerians l, especially this economic period

SportsRe: Bystanders Stole Anthony Joshua's Phone At Accident Scene - Uncle by Cmanforall: 1:03pm On Jan 03
Jakumo:
London is the phone snatching capital of the WORLD. Organized gangs used modified electric motorcycles to mount the pavement (sidewalk) and grab phones from pedestrians using them, before speeding off to sell those phones to exporters that ship them to China to be dismantled for parts. No city on earth, including Lagos, witnesses the scale of phone theft that is a daily occurrence in London, UK.
You know London has been infiltrated by many immigrants who may still have this stealing Character in them

SportsRe: Bystanders Stole Anthony Joshua's Phone At Accident Scene - Uncle by Cmanforall: 12:23pm On Jan 03
Bahamas95:
I wonder why someone would keep quiet and allow a driver endanger his/her life. Even in a commercial vehicle you can't carry me and be doing fast and furious on the road, me and dat driver go get problem.

I was traveling to Port Harcourt some years back and the driver pulled over few minutes after we left the park. We thought something was wrong with the vehicle, he walked to a shop and bought sachets of alcohol. As he was about opening it one of the passengers screamed at him not to try that nonsense.

The driver was angry and asked him what's his business with what he bought. Na dat time all of us come change am for am o, he sensed community panel beating would happen next and he respected himself by dropping the drinks and we continued our journey.
There was an incident from a friend. The driver of a commercial vehicle was driving this same fast and furious. He was cautioned , but he continued. Unlucky for him, he approached the FRSC, whom was about waving him to pass. Passengers had to raise voices and signs and he was stopped. They explained to the FRSC.
I think Nigerians should also report reckless drivers to police or FRSC on the highway.
SportsRe: Bystanders Stole Anthony Joshua's Phone At Accident Scene - Uncle by Cmanforall: 12:14pm On Jan 03
Razzness:
God forbid. People are really evil in this country. That was how I witnessed an accident last year the guy died on the spot and when they were pulling him out of the keke, his phone fell on the floor, someone picked up the phone and in a split second he was nowhere to be seen. I don't think that guys family ever got to know what happened to their son because there was no id card or any means of identification on him.
The value some people place on phones in Nigeria is something else.
In a developed society, when you lose your phone, say in public transport, go to their office the next day, and you’d find it there waiting.

Stealing Anthony’s phone or any other accident victim’s phone is disheartening.
For AJ, I wonder how Bystanders would steal his phone when he was on a convoy and the security men were the ones rescuing him in the photos online. How did the Bystanders get to the phone first? Hope it’s not one of those escorts

No care about international law. Might is right. This is the way the USA maintains its hegemony.

Unilaterally attacking and invading a country?
Kidnapping the president of a country and his wife? Total violation of sovereignty and human rights.

What will become of Venezuela now? And the USA gets away with this? The law of the jungle is in full sway. The USA is just deceiving and preaching to countries about democracy and the rule of law.
You raise good point.

That’s why constitutional review is very necessary. This was done to favour the presidency.

Shocking CCTV footage captures the moment a gang of thieves broke into a popular gadget store (Amytechworld) on January 1, 2026, and completely emptied it of brand new electronics.

In this 10-minute compilation from multiple security cameras, you can clearly see at least 5-6 men systematically smashing display cases, packing dozens of iPhones, laptops, televisions, and accessories into large bags, and carting everything away – all within minutes. The organized robbery left the store owner devastated, with goods worth millions of naira stolen in a single raid.

Faces of several suspects are visible in the footage, raising hopes that authorities or the public may help identify them.

This incident highlights the growing concern over store burglaries and the need for stronger security measures.

If you recognize any of the individuals shown, please contact the nearest police station or the store owner immediately.
This is Wickedness!

I wish they will be caught and treated as Terrorists!

Imagine what you are doing to a fellow human!

Nigerian government has been lenient on the Super Eagles for years.
Maybe Nigeria hasn’t got a football-loving president.

Although FIFA will want to come in with their bans etc, but the national team needs to be rebuilt with honour. Players will know it’s not a favour they are doing Nigerians by playing for the Eagles, but it is an honour given to them out of over 100million footballers in the country

I support it for reckless drivers to be arrested and charged to court to serve as deterrent to others.
Even those driving politicians and some celebrities.
They drive as if the road belongs to them.
Overspeeding, breaking traffic rules, just because they are driving in convoy or something.
This should be stopped!
