They all train together, if they were better don't you think the coach would pick them ahead of Iwobi?

If he, Iwobi was not good, top EPL teams like Everton and Fulham wouldn't be playing him week in week out. He is one of the best players in Fulham this season and even last season.
Who are ‘they’?
Those mostly selected based connections or lobbying power?

Iwobi can be good, but he’s not the best Nigeria can produce.
There are lots of lobbying in order to play for the Super Eagles. Iwobi won’t swear he didn’t lobby. If you know some Super Eagles players, just ask them.
It was only Keshi, who gave players who didn’t have the lobbying power of foreign currency to play for the National Team

I said same thing, there are different types of taxes. What many nIgerians werent paying was income tax. And the reason was because many Nigerians dont have jobs. Yes, many nigerians are self employed and struggling. So, income tax from such sector wasnt really coming in but those working in companies, govt establishments alreayd have their income tax deducted. While most Nigerians pay other type of taxes such as VAT, bank charges go to govt as well, import duties, etc. Most Nigerians already pay that.
As for hookup, ur tax man said it doesnt matter what u do, u will be taxed, he even used hookup as example. So, that is it.

Now, my concern, Nigeria suffers from massive poor job sector, which means most Nigerians have to struggle to find something to do. In such a country, how dare u take up to 25 percent of such struggle? Like we need to be having sense.
Should I really explain the reality of Nigeria today?
Look, calling those who earn 800k yearly poor is wicked. Those people are not living, they are dead. They are worse than poor. What u should tag poor today is 15m yearly. Yes, a person on such income with family is poor.
Here is the reality, Nigerians provide everything for them selves. There is nothing govt provide here.
Let say I made 20m last year from remote works, and in my family house, my people need light. So, let say I spend 4m on electricity, fueling, generator repair and I didnt pay income tax but have been paying other taxes such as VAT, importation duties, bank charges, etc. Now, govt comes and add income tax which will be around 4m plus. Now, my 20m purchasing power has decreased to 16m. But my electricity problem did not decrease. I will still sort out the electricity which cost me 4m last year. Can u see how govt reduced my purchasing power?
Now, let say becus of bad roads, I spend about 1.5m yearly to maintain car, what happens to that?
Now, becus most Nigerians are poor so u surely will have dependencies such as parents, siblings, friends who once in a while need ur help.
I still spend heavily on bottle water yearly, if govt had provided water, this would have been sorted out. So, govt cut down on my purchasing power without resolving any core social issues for me. So, who will fix those problems I cant fix now as my income has dropped?
Omo, we are so funny in this country.
In a country with high rate of unemployment, encourage people to make money and increase purchasing power and reduce income tax. With increase purchasing power, u can have VAT at 10 percent, govt will still make good money and govt should ensure the VAT money is utlized properly to fix social issues and gradually introduce income tax at lower rate until the country is developed with structured institutions. What govt needed to tackle now is cut down in running cost, block corruption, fix electoral system so that people orietated candidates win, make corruption unattractive at all cost. taxing already poor country to this tone of 25 percent is madness.
One of the reasons foreign clients work with Nigerians is cheap labour. So, if u are now taxing me like developed worlds, how do I charge my clients cheaper? Dman!

Nigeria never worked with all the resources we have, it will still not work now. Nigeria's problem is looting. baba, people dey loot this country die and it wont stop until electoral system is fixed. Now, if electoral system is fixed, people can win election based on their strong campaign, so the politicians will be scared of masses and not scared of fellow politicians. For now, politicians are scared of other politcians who have capacity to influence election via rigging. That is why people who store can migrate to the ruling party and they wont be tried in court. So they can bring votes for the ruling party. So, baba, naija no fit better, forget it.
You raised some valid points in your second paragraph.

But why did you add hookup in your first paragraph? Is prostitution legal in Nigeria

Coming to Taxes, many Nigerians evade Taxes, die decor those who work with government and other established structures were taxes are deducted from source before final Salaries

There are also taxes ordinary Nigerians pay, which should be stopped following this new law. Such taxes include those collecting levies from Kelechi riders or petty traders etc. in the name of Local government tax. Maybe there could be a way to T-Mobile all these to avoid such people paying multiple taxes

EducationRe: Disadvantages Of Renaming Universities. by Cmanforall: 4:02pm On Dec 21, 2025
cutecommend:
It is not a good idea renaming universities, especially the ones that have built name & produced quality graduates over the years. Several or all top universities in the world still retain their names till today.

Below are the Disadvantages of Renaming Universities that have built name over time.

(1) Weakening of Certificate Power: A university whose certificate is respected may have its certificate lose power if such university is renamed. Graduates of such universities may have to tell employers the previous name of the university before they may have the past relevance.

(2) Mis-alignment of Certificate: The previous graduates of a university before its name was changed, may have challenges aligning with the new name, as their certificates have the previous name.

(3) Undue Explanation of Name: The issue of clarifying people about the university to make them understand it is the same university they know of may arise.

(4) Tampering of glory: Some universities have built name over time. Changing their names may reduce the way they shine. Again, they may have to pay prices to make the new university name stand out .

Please the changing of university names to new names should be done with caution, and universities that have built names should not have their university name changed.
Universities shouldn’t be renamed!
That number 3 is very true!

If you want to have someone’s name attached to an infrastructure, you can build a new company or rename existing ones, but not Universities and not established Roads/Streets

TravelRe: US Stops Green Card, Citizenship Applications For Nigerians by Cmanforall: 11:53am On Dec 20, 2025
miracle002:
The United States has placed a temporary halt on Green Card and citizenship applications linked to Nigerians.

This action follows a new expansion of Washington’s immigration restrictions and affects several other countries recently added to a broader travel control policy.

The suspension targets legal immigration filings, including applications for permanent residency and naturalisation.

Many of those affected are Nigerians already living in the United States who were in the process of adjusting their status or applying to become citizens.

Under the new directive, immigration authorities have stopped processing petitions from nationals of countries covered by the latest travel restrictions.

This includes both full bans and partial entry limits, depending on the country involved.

Nigeria is among the countries facing partial restrictions. As a result, immigration-related requests tied to Nigerian nationals are now subject to the pause, creating uncertainty for families, workers, and students awaiting decisions on their applications.

Other African countries impacted by the policy include Benin, Senegal, Ghana, Gambia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Côte d’Ivoire, among others.

Some nations face complete entry bans, while others, like Nigeria, are under limited restrictions that still affect immigration processing.

The move is part of a wider immigration clampdown introduced in recent weeks. Authorities have also frozen asylum decisions and halted the processing of certain visa and immigration requests from specific nationalities.

US officials say the decision is linked to a security review of immigration systems.

According to the immigration agency, “USCIS is conducting a comprehensive review of anyone from anywhere who poses a threat to the US, including those identified in the President’s latest proclamation to restore law and order in our nation’s immigration system.”

Taken together, the latest policy changes affect a large portion of African countries and several nations in Asia and other regions. Analysts estimate that more than half of Africa is now impacted in one form or another.

The development has sparked strong reactions among Nigerians at home and abroad. Many have criticised the decision, describing it as unfair and damaging to long-standing diplomatic and people-to-people ties between Nigeria and the United States.

Concerns have also been raised about the economic and social impact of the suspension, especially for families separated by immigration delays and professionals whose careers depend on legal residency status.

Former senator, Shehu Sani, reacted to the development, describing it as “a clear signal that migrants from developing countries are no longer welcome.”

This last part of your post missed the point you already observed.

They are not banning it because of the milk and eggs added to it, its because they did not declare it.... so in short, if I was allergic to either milk or eggs, I'd eat this noodles not knowing I am causing problems for myself, seeing as it is not identified !

Some people are allergic to things as basic and abundant as meat and dust, but the trick is they can manage these situations because they can see it and control it.

Indomie should do the needful.
You raised some reasonable points here.
But if the ban is due to the declaration issue of Egg and Milk, then there’s something else NAFDAC is not telling Nigerians.
