Only haters and people who lack foresight will criticize this coastal high-way project.

I agree with you. Only who are for minutes vision and goal see no need for this project at this time. But those who are for greater things knows the importance and the significance of the project to Nigeria and Tinubu administration in some years to come.
Crime / Re: Coalition Asks Police To Stop Using Cybercrime Act To Harass Journalists by Cmeo(m): 10:45am On May 05
Where was the coalition and other civil society organizations when the bill was being considered before it becomes law?? Were they on the table eating with politicians then or would they deny they were not aware of the bill becoming law to be used against anyone wanting to widely expose corruption??

They better approach their friend's-enemy again to amend the law and allow a just reportage of corruption with persecution.

US should please keep there opinion about Nigeria please. I have observed over and over that US and it's institutions cry fowl only when they are being hit below the belt. There is something this Nigerian government is doing at the moment or planning to do that is hitting or will hit US hence this their statement.

Federal Medical Center and

A University Teaching Hospital

I'd appreciate your comments

Health Care and its institutions classified into 3 namely Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. Your local health centers/ clinic/ dispensary are primary institutions, your general hospital/ Medical Centers are Secondary institutions, while the Specialist/Teaching Hospitals are the tertiary institutions. I hope that answer your question

Difrent:

Even if Olakulehin will not be king, the next king will come from the same line too. So baba Ladoja should rest.
Yes he is the person that will nominate the Olubadan designate as the head of the line that's not producing Olubadan

Ibadan Obaship doesn't work like that. Obaship in Ibadan is by promoting of the chiefs. The next in line chief to the Olubadan becomes the king. Ibadan kingship is not by family inheritance but by Chiefs promotion.

It's a pity that our brain has been rewired to reject natural things but to be comfortable with artificial things. Body odor was created as form of identification or identity and we have failed to use it properly but instead replace with a cost in the name of expensive perfume and lavenders by smart business people.

Foreign Affairs / Re: Zimbabwe Drops 'battered' Dollar, Introduces Gold-backed 'ZIG' Currency by Cmeo(m): 7:30pm On Apr 05
Hurray, as Zimbabwe is on the pact to recovery, if truly the new currency is backed by gold.

Gold backed currency is what would make Africa economy to outperform other economics fast. It will be difficult for Africa to win the economy battle of papers and ink currency not in their domain and regulated by someone else.

I am happy that our international airspace is back to having Nigerian airline. I used to enjoy those days of Arikair going to NYC. We would party inside the plane as if we were at a Beer Parlour enjoy different kinds of buzz from departure to arrival with other Nigerians on board.

I hope PeaceAir will extend its route and give this kind of treats too.

Call them and ask our youths "what they are doing with their uncommon flexible body structure"

They are simply not interested.

Shikena.

That's part of the definition of unproductivity. Asset not in use for any reason whatsoever is loss of productivity.

Basicend:

You are very wrong sir.

Swimming and gymnastics and related events are very many in the Olympics and All Africa Games. Blacks don't have relative strength in these sports because of the rigidity of our body and bones structure.

Please accept that our bodies are not as flexible as the whites.

In games of physical strength, we dominate always.

It is the area of their strength, except the composition of the games are changed, even if we invest $100m in the training of our athletes, Egypt will come out tops.

We are lucky South Africa does not have much population, they would have overtaken us in second by now.

Don't tell me there are no blacks that have very flexible structure (even if their population is very few). The question remains "what are they doing with their uncommon flexible body structure??"
Sports / Re: 13th All-African Games: Final Medal standings as Nigeria Finishes Second by Cmeo(m): 9:59am On Mar 24
aremubabs:

Population has nothing to do with it.

Blacks in the United States are just a little above 40 million, and that is 13% of the US total population, yet the Blacks make up the bulk of the US athletics team which has dominated Olympics Games medal tables for centuries.

There is something called general population, and then there is another one called specific population.

Nigeria has about 107 million youths. As a football scout, you cannot say your options number 107 million. The number available to you are the youths playing football, out of which you must select the best who can compete internationally. By the time you do your scouting, you may not have more than 500 very good athletics to pick from.

The specific population is the population that interests the scout. This is the population of those actively participating in one game or the other. Mostly, these people are found in our universities or the police force.

Many of our youths are rather engaged in other professions. So, you can't say because we have 105 million youths, then we have more options.

The question is: "How many of these 105 million youths are sporting prospects?"

The main question is "Why are many of these 105m youths DOESN'T have sporting prospects??" That deeply answer your question above.
Sports / Re: 13th All-African Games: Final Medal standings as Nigeria Finishes Second by Cmeo(m): 9:44am On Mar 24
This result between Egypt and Nigeria is a testament that something is wrong with our productivity level and/or our sense of judgement despite that fact that our population double that of Egypt, our best could not deliver more than the Egyptian best in terms of quantity (number of medals) and quality (type of medals)

The fastest abducted school children release since over a decade of banditry, kidnapping and terrorism security challenges in Nigeria.

Ineffective presidential talk is over at least until the end of tenure of President Tinubu. The fear of being declared terrorists or their financier has made them to release the students.

However, President Tinubu and its team efforts should not relent to ensure total crush of banditry, kidnapping and terrorism in Nigeria.

Now I am very convinced that President Tinubu is towing the tracks for Nigeria's growth and development. He is on point with the steps and timing. I was expecting this before the Student loan commencement and now it is.
