There was also an award for Dongou of Barça B, who was named Best African Player in the second division


Only Rafinha was present to receive his award but Unfortunately, 2 other players were unable to attend the ceremony because Iniesta is injured missing 3 weeks while Rakitic is training for Wednesday night’s Catalan Super Cup match with Espanyol. Carles Puyol went up to collect the award on the Croatian’s behalf from former Valencia star Rubén Baraja.

trust me it's not going to be difficult. when madrid started this season they fumbled in their first 3 games. people said they were a new team trying to gel. but the reality is that barca has been more of a new team than madrid. from last season's team, madrid only introduced james, and kroos. from last season's team we introduced rakitic, mathieu, munir, sandro,even douglas. yet we are topping the table. everyone will see. when suarez blends in, after maybe 3 games we will be invincible. the great thing is that messi is not someone that operates aroung the box. he operates and runs in from the midfield and that will give suarez and neymar great opportunities to get into good goal scoring positions.

We can't wait to see that...

sure. thats what is has been with neymar and messi. on paper, messi's name is written at the centre. but on the field most times messi runs in from midfield and then you see neymar in the box playing almost like a centre forward.

luis enrique should give the 3 of them freedom up front simple. let them just understand themselves and adjust to suit one another for the good of the team. that would be a bit fair on messi. but if he decides to give suarez a permanent centre forward position, he would be sowing a seed of discord.

lucky when we made more chances & more attempts on target? chelsea were lucky with a draw......very lucky. we should have scored 2 goals in the first half with a more composed finisher.
