Oops! I got d visa on 8 Sept (thursday), sms notification on 7 Sept (wednesday) and I applied on 1 Sept. Still high from all the partying I guess

First of all I thank God cos I got my visa on Thursday (10 Sept) which was surprising cos I applied on 1 Sept. This means it only took 4 working days as I actually got the sms notification on 9 Sept. I applied thru PFL (free promo) so naturally I thought that was why it was that quick. However, a couple of my friends who used PFL too and applied a good 2 weeks before I did are yet to get theirs. Meanwhile, a friend of mine got his notification on 9 Sept and we applied on the same day (he did not use an agent). I suspect there's a certain relationship b/w paying your fees in full and getting your sms real fast as everybody I know who got theirs real early had made full payments. That said, who's going to Bradford?

@justwise the account was opened on 28 July. 24 August is when I made a transaction (deposit). I already had more than the required amount in the account before I made the deposit. Just wanna know if I'm good to apply on 1 September without carrying out any further transaction. Also is day 1 of the 28-day period the day the account was opened? (28 July in my case) Thanks.

I ask this cos everyone seems to be carrying out transactions on the 27th or 28th day and I'm not sure what the essence is. I opened my account on 28 July and made a deposit on 24 August. I'm going to apply on Thursday (1 Sept). Do I need to make a transaction on the account before I print on Thursday? Thanks.

@justwise, @ell77, @all I am worried indeed. I opened my account on 28 July and I intended to apply tomorrow (26 July) only to get to the bank this morning to find out my Dad withdrew a significant amount from the account making it about 300 pounds short (the account is in my name but my Dad has access to it and it is a current account) I was required to have my maintenance of 5400 pounds + my tuition balance of 5500 pounds totaling 10900 pounds but as a result of the withdrawal, I had about 10700 pounds. My agent advised that I pay up the balance of the tuition from some other account and apply as soon as I get my updated CAS (since my account would be sufficient to cover maintenance only) I have made the payment like my agent advised but my problem is this: my school resumes Sept 14 and I think I will apply next Thursday cos of the public holidays and waiting for my new CAS. There is a late arrival policy for 10 October but I am really worried and afraid that there isn't enough time. What do y'all advise?

@all i'm applying on 25 aug and my schl resumes 14 sept. is it too late? if yes what can I do? also does applying via an agent help u get ur visa faster?

one more thing, I'm using a sworn affidavit instead of birth cert. will that suffice? do I even need to show proof of my birth? cc @justwise   @el
