Oga you see this our so called education, rationality,” does it make sense” mentality and too much logic is why the Yoruba nation is under siege. In 30 years maximum the ibos will determine who becomes governor in Lagos. We never learn. Telling a thief that you have no right to burgle your house does not mean you don’t have a duty to secure your house.

Our problem is too much sense, too much logic, too much liberalism, did you see the votes they gave Obi in the SE….the same people who were insulting him when he was governor? Stay there and be asking if it makes sense. A thief will do what a thief does, it’s your duty to makes sure he can’t steal from you at at least to make it difficult.. I heard a story that I wish I could share publicly. It tells you we yorubas are our own problem sometimes.

No Yoruba person says we Yorubas..

You are not Yoruba.. so stop saying rubbish..

It gave the excuse. When someone wants to burn you, you don’t provide the match and the petrol. Hence lessons to be learnt.

If you're quarreling in your fenced house does that mean it is right for your neighbor that has been jealous of you should invade your house and kill you and your entire family and take over your house and when police comes to arrest the neighbor he claims you deserve to be killed because you were quarreling.

Does that make sense to you

I can see you have mental problem...

Every region played its part which is why it is a Nigerian thing. The yorubas played their part in the conflicts of ego, cult of personality inability to agree to disagree and respect differences that gave an excuse for a coup which almost repeated itself with Osinabajo/Tinubu. The ibos played their part as you said and the north who held on to resources of others are the ones now championing restructuring because all it has done is impoverish them. So it’s a Nigerian problem. We are all reminiscing with nostalgia to a period when things worked but failed because we are Nigerians. The problem wasn’t the system then, nor is it the system now, the problem is our insincerity as Nigerians….all of us!

We never go back to look at where we went wrong and our roles but instead feel changing lanes with solve anything. He who is not a student of history is condemned to repeat the mistakes of the past. Nigerians never learn because they forget history and repeat the same mistakes.

Yorubas failing to agree among themselves is not a wise reason and motivation for people who are not Yorubas and who are i:gbos to start a coup against non-i:gbos..

Yorubas played no part,
northern Nigerians played no part and did not hold on to resources of non-northern Nigerians.

it was only and mainly i:gbos that played the major role in destabilizing non-i:gbo regions which ultimately led to destruction of Nigeria.

Although, no player should be bullied at all but how are our fans bullying iwobi and allowing chukwueze to go free? When, chukwueze didn’t do anything worthy

Chukwueze is the one that headed the corner kick cross towards Ekong that Ekong scored which means Chukwueze made an assist and that makes him go free..

if iwobi had made an assist or tried to press opponents and make tackles he may have gone free but he stood still and was ball watching while the people around him were closing down opponents, pressing and making tackles..

point is, iwobi probably had the most un-used energy and stamina in that final and he did not use it.

in summary, iwobi played as if he was bribed not to press and tackle players but people only noticed in that match because more people watched the final but in previous matches iwobi was also doing the same thing of not pressing and tackling players..

all iwobi does is to pass to Sanusi or Simon who then runs with the ball on the LW and then crosses when in reality its iwobi that's meant to run with the ball and make through passes to Osimhen..

In this AFCON, Onyeka was the AM, CAM, CM and DM.. I don't know what iwobi did apart from pass to Zaidu or Simon.. I know he took some shots...

he was poor at this AFCON.

Hopefully when he gets to Fulham he starts running around and pressing again...

Nigerians like running around in circles avoiding the real issues. When we had parliamentary system we failed, we tried presidential, it has failed…what is the common denominator…..Nigerians! Every time we have an election they want to amen the electoral act, we have one of the best in the world but they still want to amend, what is the common denominator….Nigerians. We have all sorts of laws but the country does not work, what is the common denominator……Nigerians! We had regional government, the same people who abolished it are the ones calling to regional government 60 yrs later. We had secession clause, the same people that opposed it are the ones calling for referendum.

We can a,mend laws and systems all we like but we can’trun away from ourselves. When we are ready to deal with our real issues…..our Nigerian traits, our Pysche, they should let us know.

It was not "Nigerians" it was i:gbos that abolished regionalism and are demanding for it again and it was them that rejected secession clause and are demanding it again.

it is not a "Nigerian" trait it is an "i:gbo" trait.

We have agreed that one dimensional players with just one main skill set are essentially obsolete in the modern game.

Sometimes it takes just 15 minutes to see the core skill sets of a player.

Onyedika is immobile, not particularly fast ,not skilful and with limited technical ability. Strong and physical a big yes.

He doesn't have the attributes for a top level DM Holding Midfielder that can defend attack and orchestrate play from the midfield.

We need to look elsewhere.

Onyedika is not immobile and he has unlimited technical ability.

Go on You:Tube and type raphael onyedika because you're not talking about Raphael Onyedika who is orchestrating play for club brugge and midtyland.

You don't expect a central midfielder to get many assists, he didn't play Attacking Midfielder which is his main role but central midfield, and he got some pre assist in the tourney, and it was his brilliant forward pass that resulted in the corner kick from which Nigeria scored against Ivory Coast. That's the kind of things you expect from a central midfielder.

Iwobi, just like a regular attacking midfielder like Ozil tend to lose ball possessions because they make many forward passes which some of them are successful and some of them gets intercepted.

the game was prosecuted with only two midfielders, and Iwobi was tasked with too much to do which is not supposed to be so. You don't play a player like Ozil in central Midfielder role and also expect him to be marking, incepting and winning ball possessions, and functioning as an Attacking Midfielder at the same time.

iwobi is not Ozil and should never be in the same sentence as Ozil..

Ozil was getting old ( 31 years old ) and could no longer run around like he used to while iwobi is 27 years old and was standing still and ignoring passes to him and allowing opposition player run past while he stands still and watches them run past him.

if iwobi was tasked with "too much to do" what will you say about Ayinde and Ucheibe during the women world cup.

stop defending mediocrity of iwobi.. if he was tired he could have sat down on the field and say they should sub him off.

The idea that the UK can forcefully deploy soldiers and build UK-owned barracks in Nigeria is preposterous.

1. Nigerian lawyers have been able to practice in the UK for a long time by writing a simple test called the Qualified Lawyers Transfer test. Even without the test, you can still practice, just that you have to inform prospective clients you are a 'Foreign Lawyer'.

2. UK law firms that set up office in Nigeria will primarily be targeting commercial/business/cross-border transactions. 99% of their work willl be office based. It is unlikely you'll see them wearing a robe and appearing in a court, even though though they might be able to do so.

These people are not coming here to handle Chieftancy, land, election matters, or Mr A ran away with my wife type of cases grin etc

They will be targeting big transactions.

they are targeting Nigeria's political system and total control of Nigerians..

what it means is they will now be able to freely deploy soldiers to Nigeria and build U:K owned soldier barracks and bases of operations all over Nigeria.

You're actually the airhead here, because it is on record that we had the best of education during the colonial era with university of Ibadan being a campus of the university college London. Many of our professors and professionals today we're educated by the colonial masters. Then Nigerians didn't need visa to travel abroad and many were offered scholarships to study in choice universities abroad.

Infrastructures done by colonial masters were of high quality. Those roads and bridges constructed by the British colonial leaders stood the test of time. Our people got the best of healthcare as British doctors were the ones in charge of healthcare. Same British doctors were the ones who later trained our people on orthodox medicine which then replaced our crude and ineffective traditional medicine practice.

The list goes on

South Africa is much more developed today than Nigeria because the colonial masters stayed longer there compared to Nigeria that hurriedly got Independence only for our evil and selfish politician to start looting our common wealth instead of developing the country. Sometimes, I wish that the colonial masters stayed longer in Nigeria. I'm sure the country would have been better than it is today.

This is positive in some ways

1. Lawyers from Nigeria and other Common law countries have been able to practice in the UK for decades. All you have to do is write the Qualified Lawyers Test (QLT). Most newly qualified lawyers from Nigeria can pass the test at first attempt. It is not difficult at all. Once you pass, you will be inducted as a Solicitor of Supreme Court of England and Wales, and be given a practising certificate. That's it. You can practice like any other British Solicitor. You can complete the whole process within a few months.

All these years that Nigerians have been able to do this, Nigeria did not have a reciprocal simple route for UK lawyers to practice here and there was no histrionics from the UK side.

2. Having global UK firms like DLA Piper opening their own office here will give foreign investors confidence that the same firm handling their matters in Hong Kong, London, New York, Paris etc will handle their matters in Lagos/Abuja Nigeria. Many large foreign companies prefer such seemless arrangement.

3. Nigerian law firms have not particularly covered themselves in glory when it comes to corruption. Many of the international scandals surrounding large contracts where Nigeria's interest were traded cheaply to foreigners in return for bribes were drafted by Nigerian lawyers. Having UK legal firms here who are subject to the UK Bribery Act and who know how much costly and damaging allegations of bribery can be to their reputation is a good thing. Large international contracts involving Nigeria may be better handled on behalf of the country by a global UK law firm based in Nigeria than by Nigerian law firms who time and again have proven themselves ready to sell out Nigeria for a few dollars.

Overall, I believe people are right to ask questions about whether Nigeria is getting anything in return. That's for the government to answer. But, I personally believe this is a positive move.

Stop eating jollof rice or any food that has stew, pepper in them.
Stop taking sugar or anything that has sugar in it like soft drinks, bananas or other fruits that have sugar.
Stop eating boiled eggs.
Stop eating bread because it also has sugar in it.

Drink at least 2 sachets of water after each meal you take.

It also means you're milk intolerant.

People who are milk intolerant should stop drinking milk and anything made from or with milk.

People who are milk intolerant also suffer from pile ( blood coming out an*s while purging ) due to taking too much sugar.

You must stop milk, sugar, bread, stew, drinks that have sugar, boiled eggs, pepper, suya e.t.c

Before you go the toilet.. drink at worse 1 sachet or half a bottle of water.

There's is no cure or medicine to completely treat it. You have to become strict with what you eat and drink.

SE coaches will say Akinsanmiro and Eletu are too young.

SE haven't given Onyedika, Tijani any chance and Yusuf until this tournament wasn't invited.

Once Ndidi recovers the SE coaches will send Onyeka to the bench instead of playing a midfield of iwobi, Onyeka and Ndidi they won't invite one of Onyeka, Onyedika or Yusuf after this AFCON anymore.

When teams face a skilful fast forward player known to cause danger you always DOUBLE UP. Have you ever seen defenders allowing Mbappe, Ronaldo, Zaha etc to go 1v1 on your defense.

Aina had Adingra mostly covered in the first half even the first 25 minutes of the second half . But he was having too many 1v1 Chukwueze was not able to go forward and should have been backtracking. By the second half our boys were getting exhausted and completely gassed out, too much work.

Our midfielders were outnumbered and out skilled in the most negative defensive posture you can find. We could not win any second balls.

If Iwobi was placed much closer to VO and in a more forward position it may have been different. But he was playing DM and conceded the midfield.

I was surprised Onyeka was not sent off because he was working tirelessly and getting several fouls. Particularly because the referee was clearly biased. He stifled VO aggressive game with wrong calls against him and warned him.

From the get go any physical touch with the CIV players and they are rolling around like you hit them with a sledge hammer ⚒️.

This was made worse with our negative defensive posture literally inviting CIV to attack non stops 🛑

The bolded is a problem you, others and SE coaching crews are not answering.

iwobi was underwhelming and iwobi does not have to be in a "more forward" position let the striker ( Osimhen ) be closer to Iwobi not iwobi closer to the striker.

To do what you're saying then a 3 - 4 man midfield is needed..

It is the team that failed. Not Iwobi, not Osimhen, not Aina, not Chukwueze, not Zaidu. The team failed. Nobody hold their side 100%, so, to single out one person in a team loss is wickedness.

The entire team was poor. Let us be just in criticism and not constantly single out one person for hate. If na only one person fail, we for face am, but this one was team failure.

There's need to single out players.

When Joe Hart was at Man City under Pep Guardiola he was singled out and replaced, in fact most of the team was replaced only Aguero, David Silva, De Bruyne, Kompany, Toure were retained..

My verdict, we have done well, we have exceeded the expectations we had going to the tournament, no one gave that squad a chance to get to the final, the problems we had in the final today was a problem that was obvious for over 6 months or even our world cup qualification. We had a patched midfield that did well getting to the finals but was badly exposed today. No point feeling bad , I can only praise them.

Now my reaction to this, enough of huge ego of we have too many talents and any player that doesn't want to play for us should not come, it's time to build our TEAM, qualifying for semi finals and Finals in Afcon and loosing should not continue to be a habit, it was obvious we needed ball carriers and runners to help Onyeka's hardwork in that midfield but lacked it soon much. Now we need to go find them. We need 2 technical teams from the nff that should go round and convince players to play for Nigeria, we have to many diaspora talents that we can't just relax and say we can't beg them infact from the English league, Italian league, German league we can build a squad from them, while watching that final today I could just imagine having a runner like Ogbene of Luton town and a ball carrier like Eze along with Onyeka we would counter that ivory coast team like demons. We gave our attackers especially Osihmen little chance., It's time to go and reach out and convince the diaspora talents more

The second technical team should focus on the local league and African league and find talents there too. We should not be patching up a squad with few weeks/ months to the to tournament, there is another Afcon next year we have work to do. Thanks very much.

Ejuke is a ball carrier, he wasn't called up.

Osimhen is also a ball carrier but he didn't want to help the midfield.

iwobi is also a ball carrier but he under-performed.

Peseiro's plan was to loop the ball from the defense to attack and the midfield to try recover the ball when it didn't get through, that might be the reason Onyeka had a more advanced role: to recover the ball and make forward drives, since he has more pace and is also better defensively. Iwobi's role wasn't as loud, that's why many didn't notice.

Onyeka did not have an advanced role.

That's how Onyeka plays for Brentford..

iwobi was been very careful probably due to red card he got at the last AFCON.

iwobi was letting players run past him, ball watching, expecting passes to be played directly to his feet, when a player passes to Iwobi and the pass is not directly to his feet even if iwobi can jog to the pass iwobi would stand still and watch the pass go past him.
iwobi did this in most of the matches.

Peseiro did not have a plan, looping the ball from defense to attack has always been a Nigerian way of playing football.

End of story. We get 2-3 proper midfielders and our defense doesn’t have to do as much work.

The proper midfielders are there...

2 of them were on the bench while 1 wasn't invited.
