But for now if he is able to secure his 2nd term I believe he will massively go on the offensive against the terrorists, and their financiers in the north. never.. zerrorists created crisis that brought the ruling party into power. so there is no way the ruling party will go on an offensive against them. zerrorists and the ruling party are one. |

sulaak: China's internal migration policy is called the hukou system. If we had this system in Nigeria, we wouldn't have the land grab problem that is prevalent in the Middle-belt, or Fulani herders creating havoc across the country. It will also force the state to invest in social, education and health development.
The reason for so much internal migration in Nigeria today is insecurity in Northern Nigeria. Soon, migrants from Darfur, Chad, Niger, and Mali will be coming to the SW due to insecurity in the Sahel. people from Niger republic have been migrating to Lagos since 90s... the people you call "northerners" in Lagos and some other southern states are from niger republic... they are not Nigerians... and are meant to be deported by immigration officers. who do you think the u:S:a will use to launch attacks in defense of christians it is the illegal immigrants from Niger republic they will use.. just watch, there will soon be attacks on religious places in Lagos then the U:S will strike Lagos then destroy dangote refinery. |

We can’t make the constitution a proclamation of convenience. The one Nigeria under one constitution has always been the guiding principle. SW does not operate a different system and the discussion of the effect of migration on the region by itself is speaking on both sides of the mouth. the people you call "northerners" in Lagos and some other southern states are from niger republic, Chad and Sudan... they are not Nigerians... and are meant to be deported by immigration officers. northern Nigerians do not migrate to southern Nigeria. |

MakindeHassan: The solution is for the government to spread development to other regions and encourage more companies to have their HQ outside Lagos. NLNG is an example in Rivers State. So many companies that have nothing to do with finance have their HQ in Lagos. Thank God for Abuja if not Lagos population you are complaining about would have been double.
This is 2025 with technology, some people in Nigeria work remotely for companies in US and Europe. Any job that doesn’t need physical presence should allow their staff to work remotely so they can live in other states where cost of living is cheaper and their salaries will have more value. Their spending will boost local economy of these states. As more people earn in these other states they will spend their money and it will trickle down to the common man who wouldn’t need to migrate to Lagos to make a living.
I laugh when I see companies talking about climate change and reducing carbon emissions meanwhile they make their staff come to work everyday, 2 hours in traffic burning fuel and congesting the road when they can perform from home. what the federal government has built in Lagos is also available in other states.. federal universities, federal polytechnics, federal secondary schools, federal primary schools, federal hospitals, federal customs immigration offices, federal airports, other federal agencies, federal roads, military colleges, Police colleges, police stations, military barracks, Navy e.t.c state governments also have their own universities, polytechnics, secondary schools, primary schools, hospitals, state airports e.t.c.. it is the private businesses in Lagos which is mostly YORUBA owned that makes Lagos thrive.. the FG cannot force Yoruba people to move their private businesses out of their own Yoruba region.. Let other tribes to create businesses in their own states.. there is no government in Nigeria.. |

Didn't they learn anything from Osimhen? The match pain me Then think of Osimhen himself that did everything to get to team to where we were..
Sad Osimhen is the main person that presses from the front. Lookman presses sometimes. the only other person that presses similar to Osimhen and is probably faster than Osimhen does not play for a big club and does not score goals like Osimhen is Olusegun.. Olusegun is the only player IN MY OPINION that should be coming on to replace Osimhen anytime Osimhen is subbed off regardless of the club he is playing for... his speed alone would help the SE against any team.. other players that may press are Gift Orban and Tella.. |

Oasis007: ......I know emotion garnished with pain still dey our body but we need to tell ourselves the truth.
Only Osimhen and Benjamin deserve the shirt, to some extent, Bassey as well. Rest should go and focus on their club careers.
DRC deserve the slot, I said it before the match even got to PK. We were completely outplayed and tactically destroyed.
We weren’t given breathing space at all in the second half and extra time. They owned the game and deserve to progress.
...and Chelle is never an issue. Tactically he got it right, especially in the first half but execution is the problem.
He gave Lookman, Iwobi, and Chuks, freedom to roam and dictating the play but the team couldn’t convert chances that came up in the first half.
We too dey overrate these lads on this board. The earlier we accept Nigeria is parading very average players the better.
Some are claiming we have midfielders and Uche is being mentioned?! Same Uche that is glued to bench at Crystal Palace?!
We are parading bunch of bench warmers or players that their careers have nosedived, yet we expect them to play well?!
NFF should clear all their allowances, then free most of them. Chelle should be allowed to assemble a new team as soon as possible. Chrisantus Uche is young and will press the opponents. DRC did not deserve the slot, the SE handed the game to DRC by sitting back defending and not pressing them to force errors instead they were the ones pressing the SE players into committing errors.. SE lacks players that have the drive to press or it might be instructions from the coaches because this is how they have been playing since 2022... it is rocket science to the SE to control and pass the ball in the opposition half... |

In the previous games it was Dessers and Ekong.
Maybe Bameyi and his u20 brothers should be promoted and used for Afcon, smh u20 team will at least press and transition the ball better than the SE who will cede possession to the opponents and allow the opponents to press them as if they are a League 2 club side.. |

MetalJigsaw: Why bench Akor when he compliments Osimhen and make work easier for him. At least one of Akor or Simon should have started.
Simon should have started not Lookman. We hardly scored goals when Lookman play. Simon creates chances, draws defenders to himself and is very effective while helping defense bunch Chelle is carried away by APOTY award. Chelle doesn't learn from his mistakes.
And when it comes to Midfield onyedika is better But he still gets benched. How can a professional midfielder be losing the ball carelessly. Iwobi and Lookman are so guilty of this. Lookman played well today. it was ndidi and chuks that did not convert the easy chance Lookman created for them. but Lookman himself should have the intelligence to know that when he plays the team does not score and should himself ask the coach to bring him on in the 2nd half... same way ndidi and iwobi can both fake injury on the pitch if they realize they are not playing well themselves and tell the coach to replace them with Onyedika and Alhassan Yussuf.. SE is not a team, it is a bunch of players who prefer the bonuses they get from the SE than for the SE to actually play proper football and win teams.. |

Chukwueze was playing both wing nd midfield and it was stabilized then. The moment chukwueze and iwobi was removed, everything scattered Iwobi needs to be benched and brought on in the 2nd half. He never presses or marks in important matches since his red card against Tunisia in 2022 AFCON. Lookman too needs to be benched. |

Like selective breeding since we don’t naturally produce proper ball playing midfielders, we must be intentional about it.
Enough of the nonsense and mediocrity, if we have just two proper midfielders, we will be dispatching teams and qualifying with ease… The ones we produce don't play for top teams so they don't get call ups invitation. |

If DR Congo can hold and move the ball, transition in phases from defense to midfield to attack why can't we just do it? SE does not train on how to transit the ball from defense to midfield to attack. If they trained, then SE won't be having a back 4 or back 6 most of the time they would have a back 2 because the fullbacks and DMs would move to midfield as ball transits but SE just sits and let's the opponents pressed them. |
