Our midfield can’t pass or create anything, even the easy passes it’s sad, and it’s because of the selection, if iwobi is not in, iheanacho should be, this a poor set up from the coach, the players are doing their best, but this is on the coach

That's why people are clamoring for Nwakali if Iwobi is not playing let Onyedika or Nwakali play.

Aribo is a LW or SS not a midfielder.

Simon should be eased out of the SE. He's just too unintelligent

Aribo can play LW.

Coaches just have to be strict on the wingers and tell them to play like wingers.

Moses Simon has started his over dribbling. A simple pass and Osimhen would have scored.

noooooooo bro I do not want you to see this from a tribal point of view because it is not. This is not representative of all igbos. I am talking about certain feminists in the Igbo culture who have sworn never to marry into the culture because it offers them no power and they want power. So this is nothing to do with tribalism. This is the metaphysical explanation of the relationship dynamics of these feminists who marry out for power. They are not marrying into the culture of the guy they are going for, and neither do they care about his culture, they are just in the union for the power and authority they can exude.

As for why Yoruba guys flock to Igbo women, men love women who have some white genes in them. They like lightness etc. during the colonial era the Igbo genes was diluted by white men and so we are like 8 or 9 generations removed from that era and so in reality many Igbo women are what they call octaroons and nonaroons and septaroons meaning a slight admixture with white people. Obviously not all Igbo women are like this but quite a number of them are. So naturally guys , especially Yoruba guys like light skin women .

Yorubas don't like light skin women.
Yoruba men don't flock to igbo women.

Men naturally crave sex and will stay hooked to who they have sex with.

igbo women make it easy for Yoruba men to have sex with them and from then on the Yoruba men end up impregnating igbo women which then ends in marriage..

It has nothing to do with feminism, the average igbo woman who marries a Yoruba man wants to be head of the family so indirectly there are two people dragging the role of the head of the family which should not be so.

Konquest:

I want to come in here.

To be brutally honest, Charles Adetokunbo shouldn't have even accepted his children adopting the bastardized family name Antetokoumpo instead of Adetokunbo when the Greek passport folks made that misspelling error. That Antetokoumpo error ought to have been corrected long ago! That name "Antetokoumpo" is a very BIG insult to Yorubas and Africans (because even that name has NO meaning in the Greek language and many Greeks who were interviewed in the media don't know the meaning). African names have meanings. Many Nigerians and Africans in the Diapora proudly rock their Yoruba, Asanti, or Swahili names, so it is sacrilegious to adopt a meaningless name in place of the original Adetokunbo family name.

The name Adetokunbo is a prestigious Yoruba name meaning "A crown brought from across the ocean (or sea)." It is the duty of every father to provide guidance or direction for his family and the mothers too should complement their spouses in a multicultural marriage setting. My BIGGEST wish would be for Thanasis, Giannis, and their two younger brothers living in the U.S. to officially REVERT back to the use of the original family name ADETOKUNBO.

In any event, I'm glad that Charles Adetokunbo who hailed from Abeokuta but lived in Lagos State with his wife and first son, Francis Adetokunbo before their 1991 migration to Greece met and interacted well with the basketball legend Hakeem "the dream" Olajuwon who played for the Houston Rockets, in Texas, and was also the 1994 NBA, MVP just like Giannis became the 3rd ever person in NBA history to win an MVP. Hakeem Olajuwon interacts and trains with Giannis and the rest of his brothers. So, it is hoped that he would learn more about his father's Yoruba folks who number over 55 million people in Africa from Nigeria, Benin, Togo, Ghana, and Ivory Coast, with a large Diaspora population of Yorubas in the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Belgium, etc.

Indeed, Giannis has a Yoruba father and an Ibo-speaking mother from the North of Delta State, so he has to gravitate towards both sides and Giannis' mother will do well to introduce her children to her late husband's family so that Giannis and his siblings would get to know their uncles, aunts, and cousins of their father's side of the family.

Last but not least, it wasn't a good PR for her and the family to take the 29-year-old Giannis 'Sina Ugo Adetokunbo to see only her own side of the family in Lagos without connecting with the paternal side. From here on out, there should be all-inclusiveness in embrassing cultural values from both sides of the family tree by the Adetokunbos.

Olajuwon is a stranger to him and can never influence him.

There can never be "all-inclusiveness" because his mum is not encouraging it and will never embrace it because that is not the igbo way of doing things and it is also not the natural human way of doing things.

It is natural of humans to impose their culture on others.

It's you that is crying on their behalf, his mother felt Igbo language is suffering and feeling insecure for its survival. That's why he advised her son for this project.

His father doesn't influence him to do that for Yoruba language, he knows that Yoruba is beyond Nigeria, hence there's no threat for Yoruba language till the world end. Such initiative is inconsequential to Yoruba language in anywhere in Nigeria.

His father is dead around 5 - 8 years ago.

Super eagles is deployed in a more defensive and and counter attacking formation. The reason while defending we hv 5 defenders at the back

Zaidu is suppose to be joining the attack when the team is attacking just like aina did in the first half but he is not built for such role

The reason why I suggested that aina moving to the left back and osayi moving to the right back will help the team more when attacking

SE needed a penalty to score them.

Civ have been threatening if not for Nwabili the SE will currently be losing.

Both Chukwueze and Osimhen needs to be subbed off, they are playing against Nigeria.

Ibadan is 3080km² while Port Harcourt is 369km²..

Even the problems in other parts are created by the north. When this kidnapping of a thing started, some northern elders were justifying their claims. The north only has power when it comes to other parts but lack the temerity to deal with their own problems. When you artificially impoverish your people and keep giving birthday to children you can't train, those children will come back to haunt the few of them like our brother here who is training his own children. Let states handle their own resources and control their own security forces and then remit to the center on a monthly basis. The north is always feeling cheated.

States can create and control security groups and maintain their security without true federalism.

Lagos was made capital of Nigeria since 1914. It's a long time to reap so much benefits as a capital area. The status of being a capital area enable it attract so much investment and companies over many years. Oil money alone can not make a city become like Lagos.

Nefort:

Yoruba wealth alone can NEVER make Lagos what it is today. Every tribe in Nigeria plus foreigners invested their money in Lagos. Hausas invested there, Igbos invested heavily there, Ijaws invested there, westerners invested there heavily and so on. Nigerians plus foreigners and the federal government collectively invested and made Lagos what it is today.

England did not build primary schools, secondary schools, universities, health centers, hospitals, stadiums, technical institutes, vocation centers, maternity hospitals, pediatric hospitals, sports centers, housing estates, roads e.t.c. all over Nigeria between 1914 and 1960 and after..

they took the billions they made from Nigeria and other places they colonized and used it to build England they did not use it to build Nigeria and the other places they colonized. So foreigners and non-Yorubas did not add or bring anything to Lagos.

You build your origins when you have money.. it is the intelligent thing to do when you have money infact it is what you do when you have money..

Yorubas alone made Lagos what it is today..

That is the truth!!!

If you have a large Gold reserve in your backyard and it makes you wealthy then it is your luck and it doesn't change the fact that the Gold reserves made you wealthy.

Yorubas are lucky that the commercial capital of Nigeria is in Lagos which got developed as a result of the early colonial influence, Government influence, and then investment inflows from foreign and local sources. They are reaping the benefits and it doesn't change the fact that Yorubas are benefiting from it. This is why Yorubas dominate certain areas like IT, Banking etc.

Lagos is the commercial center of the Yorubas not of Nigeria and it is as a result of Yorubas concentrating their wealth there.

It has nothing to do with colonial influence, government influence, Foreigners.

During the colonial government only a part of Lagos island was the capital and only white people and Nigerian colonial government workers were allowed there.

The rest if Lagos was filled with dirt roads, forests, and underdevelopment. No University in Lagos, no teaching hospitals, no housing estates built by the British, no pipe borne water.

Yorubas are reaping the benefits of Yoruba wealth concentration.

So again, stop saying nonsense.

EDUCATION plus HOME ADVANTAGE. Igbos and other southern tribes are educated as well but they don't have the population and home advantage that Yorubas have. If I am Yoruba looking investors to back my fintech startup, most of the investors in Lagos will likely be Yoruba due to a dominant population of Yorubas, and a Yoruba investor will be more willing to invest in my startup.

Igbos and other southern tribes have crude oil, gas, farmlands, population, coal, home advantage e.t.c.

They have much more than the Yorubas have and will ever have so stop saying nonsense.

London is not described as city of English people. Develop more sense if you want one Nigeria. You can't have one Nigeria where non southwesterners cannot call Lagos their home nor participate in the politics and governance of Lagos State.
Even a Pakistani immigrant now occupies the most prestigious office of Mayor of London.
If you want Lagos as city for southwesterners, fully declare Oduduwa Republic the agitation for which you suspended after Tinubu became president of Nigeria, so that Lagos will become city of the Yoruba 100%.

London is in England which is the English territory and region so it is a city of English people.

If the Pakistani man had said what you just said about London then he would never be the mayor of London because that is anti English mentality and hatred for English people.

non-english people in England do not have anti-english mentality and some English leaders support globalism so they allow non-english people into their government.

the SW does not support globalism, most of the non-Yoruba people in the SW have anti-Yoruba mentality and publicly hate Yoruba people and some of them have killed Yoruba people..

Lagos is a city for Yoruba people, Anyone that says otherwise has hatred for Yoruba people.

Yes, a "SW man" like you call it, Akinola Aguda recommended the capital be moved from Lagos because over time, the coastal town of Lagos was growing rapidly leading to questions around the suitability of Lagos serving as both the FCT and that of Lagos, there were intolerable conditions of living and working, traffic, housing shortages, congestion, and lack of expansion, and even when the capital was moved, these problems still persists, and Lagos was becoming decrepit, but Lagos thrived and still thriving. Lagos became what you all envy today, because of the impeccable administration and effective Governance it has received from it's leaders. "Too many South Westerners" did not abandon Lagos because of civil service, only those who had employment there did, and the entire civil service didn't comprise of just Yorubas.

You said too many Igbos remained in Lagos, just like all tribes, people who had business remained and those who thought Lagos would totally fail especially when the capital was then moved also left, including IGBOS too. Let me tell you, Lagos has always been the commercial hub of Nigeria, with and without the people of the "South East" especially due to its close proximity to the Atlantic, Many great cities began as ports in the era when sailing ships were chief engines of global commerce. The South West Lagos is for it's South West people and blessed with an amazing geography, and excellent administrative leadership of the Yorubas. There's nothing ridiculous about that.

Lagos has always been the commercial center of the Yoruba nation..

Lagos is not and has never been the commercial center of Nigeria.

Context mate...context! Dr Ekwueme was addressing Igbo in a Igbo gathering, and was not limiting his scope to a 'one Nigeria' with its attendant pro-Yoruba/Fulani power-play dynamics, bigotry, nepotism, tribalism and envy that has enabled these two ethnicities use a political-economy and structure enthroned and sustained by them to lord it over everyone else! His statement was made in a global context and were mere words to help ginger his people in the face of the challenges confronting them! You on the other hand are bragging with practical advantages accorded you by a political-economy that's been tilted in your favour from 1970 to date....bragging of 'controlling so and so'! You have no case, and trying to use what Dr Ekwueme told his kinsfolk in a Igbo gathering to try and 'justify' your bragging on here, is akin to a bystander getting furious when he hears a man tell his daughter that she's 'the best daughter in the world'! shocked How does him telling that to his kinsfolk in a gathering you were not invited to affect you in the real world!? Hasn't your Nigeria bragged on the African or global stage over one thing or the other!? The key thing here is context: competing or bragging to an outsider is different from bringing it home to brag to the entire family that you're 'better than your siblings and parents'!

The only hypocrites here are YOU and those who subscribe to your supremacist and arrogant way of thinking! You use your hegemonic control of 'one Nigeria' to gain advantages to yourself over and above that accorded to others, then come on a public forum to smugly declare yourselves 'in control of so and so sector'....implying you're better than the very same people you've been cheating for decades! It has been asked, if you feel you're so 'superior and more sophisticated' than everyone else in Nigeria, why don't you fck off and go form your own independent country where the sky would be your limit and you wouldn't be inhibited or dragged down by any deadweight!? The Igbo you so despise, deride, and have illusions that you're better than, have made it clear they would rather be seperated from you and bigots that reason like you, and they have been targeted by the Nigerian state and had thousands of their kinsfolk murdered as a consequence! You connived and plotted to steal the last presidential election for your emilokan mandate thief, even though all fairminded/neutral observers would agree it was Igbolokan.....one would have thought this would be a good opportunity to drop the federal gov't objections to the court ruling freeing Mazi kanu and assist him and his group IPOB to exit from 'one Nigeria' so you can free yourselves to use that Yoruba 'ingenuity' to develop even faster! But you're not doing that, and the reason why is that you don't even have confidence in your own ability to make it in life without 'one Nigeria' and the unmerited advantages you have criminally cornered for yourselves....not forgetting the fact 'one Nigeria' gives you the opportunity to sabotage Igbo economic/political interests! You're hypocrites who don't have the confidence to make it on your own without leeching off of others, so spare us all these lies, arrogance and fake allusions to some kind of sophisticated superiority over everyone else!

The only place Yorubas control is the SW.

Igbos never wanted to separate from Nigeria, Igbos wanted total control of Nigeria and all the regions in Nigeria that's why your ancestors killed the leaders of the other regions and abolished regionalism and created a Unitary government where the wealth and revenues of all the regions go to the FG which Ironsi controlled which is what Nigeria uses today.

After Ironsi was killed and no longer in control of the government was when Ojukwu started screaming separation and secession.

So whatever you're complaining about was created and put in place by I:gbos in 1966/1967.
