Suntemi:You are right suntemi... If I were in his shoe the worst come to worst I give him back the money and take back the phone... For the sake of my business name. @buyer this guy doesn't intend to give you a dime. I will advise you let him be. He was smart. Lesson to learn: 1, if a phone is faulty at purchase point and your mind no carry am then don't buy 2, try and have saved evidence e.g take a audio recorder, written agreement, save your chat 3, Beg the seller to tell you of any faults with d product, 4, Ask if returnable if fault are discovered. 5, check other people reviews about the seller. Just let it go... |
Where the solar TV and fridge na |
@ runbler and there u have it... U are not getting a dime from the seller using this approach, since he has given his address, you can go with a police officer. What I find funny is that the seller condition for paying u now depend on a third party you are unfamiliar with during the initial dealing. And the original advert didn't state that the phone had those fault or that the seller was selling the phone for someone else. |

Jacko1:With time this kind of your thinking we have to give way... There is a reason why we have the justice system in a civilized world |
This is an inhuman way to treat anyone, there are better and less barbaric and archic way to handle this. I feel sad for the people of this generation. It may not be our generation due to the poor mental reasoning of people but I believe one day we will get there, a point where treating people inhuman for alleged crime or burning them... Would stop. What the individual is alleged to have stolen might even be a false accusations. Yet this people worship those who steal their future and that of their children in broad daylight. Sad people are praising this... Still remembering the ALUU 4 |
greenhulk:Dude I had also dealt on used item before, a businessman Is different from an hustler... A businessman that want to build an image or brand would atleast give the buyer disclosure or tell the buyer that the deal is base on non-refundable agreement. The seller could had just been plain with the buyer especially when the buyer asked him if the problem was fixable but rather he said it was software issue and an upgrade will fix it .. As for taking risk business is all about risk, but just because you bought items that are damaged doesn't mean you should transfer it to your buyer without letting them no... You may play smart and make some money but what is at stake is your brand |
This is sad, it is funny how some seller will not reveal everything wrong with a phone before selling and expect the buyer to check everything within the short moment they meet and decide whether to buy or not, only for the buy to discover some hours or few day later after purchase and the seller be saying I didn't force you to buy, I gave you chance to check the product. I guess it is because of the kind of country we live in... You hardly find a honest seller and since the trade starts online and short physical inspection this seller believe you can not trace them. @buyer will advise you leave him and move on... The guy played smart and now justify is action by believing he sold at a lower price than market price. The honest truth is even when you sell for 5okobo you owe the buyer and your conscience full disclosure of any issue that could affect the buyer buying decision and if the issue is spotted by the buyer within a reasonable time a refund or replacement should be worked out. |
