Get a rechargeable fan, most of them have Dc inputs. Then get a suitable adaptor if you need it..you are good to go.

You have a point my brother. Battery is key. I am suffering from bad batteries. Though I intend to manage them till it packs up finally. Please don't buy batteries from Alaba even if the supplier gets it directly from manufacturer. As long as it is Alaba, don't buy. In short don't buy inverter from Alaba as well.

Sorry, saw it but it escaped my mind 'cos I ad too many questions coming to me both on forum, phone and whatsapp , but sometimes if I don't reply peoples questions , because some other members have already answered it, no vex , I don't have a volt meter,
Please : make una dey channels questions to the house , I am not perfect, there are some nairaland members that knows all these things better than me, don't want to mention names but I know there are some I grabbed a thing or two from and they are better than me when it comes to inverter and solar inverters stuff......

Hello guys, I have a problem in my freelancer account which I want to share with you guys hoping to get some response.

I've been on freelancer.com as a writer since late last year and I've done many works there. It was earlier this year that I got a re-writing work, after few very successful works with the white guy it happened that I couldn't deliver a certain work he gave me on time because of a certain challenge i was having as of the time; before then I already told him that I need his review (which of course would be very nice cos I'm good which he admitted earlier) to boost my reputation.

So as I explained to him why I couldn't finish the job on time hoping that he would consider, the guy, after terminating the offer went ahead to pay me off; and after that he reminded me of the feed I demanded earlier and also asked me to give him a nice review which I agreed to hoping that he'll do same.

The truth is that I've not been able to secure a single project ever since I parted ways with him which is so unusual. just recently I realized that the guy gave me an ugly review saying that "I'm not on time and he was not satisfied with me" which was not a lie if our last work is to be considered singularly.

On seeing that I was so disappointment at him cos the last job was the only one I didn't beat its deadline in all the works I did for him. it would have been better he didn't drop the feedback. I even regret ever working with him cos his' was the cheapest of all and I didn't even gain a dollar from it but rather a loss since he terminated the project on the onset and freelancer.com had already deducted their commission or whatever from my account balance.

Now I'm thinking of contacting their customer care, but before that I decided to bring it up here:

Has any of you guys ever received a bad review, and any idea on how to move forward, thanks.

Simple answer: No, It can't.

If you noticed it is rated 2.8kva max, and that will be for a few minutes only. From experience, these pasted ratings are higher than the actual capacity of the generator. Guys want to sell their market..!

Consider a 5kva.

Thanks for the good work.I had my solar setup before stumbling on this thread,please will need your expertise. The first day the setup was brought in,it powered my two 30watts blue gate fans as well as 10 (18watts )power saving bulbs though not all switched on at once for 12 hrs before switching it off.After that first day,the inverter alarm went off after 5 hrs and the third day after 5hrs.The solar controller always display 24.9v yet will not power my bulbs and TV (1.01amps)for more than 5hrs. Please what could I have been doing wrong. I am a not versed in electrical terms and hope u will understand better with pictures of my set up.

lolz, even one supplier told me to just connect directly and start using. i refused, after reading the voltage with meter. i cant afford to damage my 200amp battery i bought 70k in this hard time. 30amps solar charge controller is on the way.

My Generator is 2000 watts maximum output (2.5KVA), it can carry my 30A charger plus other loads (TV, Laptop, Lights etc) - the engine is set at high.

and what is the Max? 30A? that's 12v * 30A = 360 watts. Let's say 400 watts to cater for heat losses. I don't think a 2.5kva generator would shake with a 400watts load. I mean, I use the generator for my 1200watts iron when PHCN misbehaves.

I use a 2.5kva generator and It powers my 30A smart charger. The light will just blink when you power it. The generator doesn't change sound.

Hello guys, thank God I stumbled on this tread today... pla I need advice and and suggestions. ... I have a 1.4kva inverter and 2 200A/12v batteries. the thing is even after being fully charged, it doesnt take more than 2hrs for it to start shouting (lol). actually I've had this for like a year+, so I know its time to change the batteries. but then I thought of adding a solar panel to the system. I got a quotation of 320,000naira from someone bt I think its on the high side. pls guys hw much do u think I need to replace d batteries and add a solar unit to it.

Who can help me out here. My 4922 is giving me power issues.

It does not power up. When you hit "on" it does not respond. When you go back to "off", it blinks an "8" or "-".

I took it to Oshodi Army Arena, last week. The tech took it from me and fixed it (not in my presence).

He turned it on and it came up as usual. All good.

I got home, went to turn it on and it goes back to the previous issue again.

Never comes up, yet I saw it power up when at Oshodi.


Help.
