please house i need your help.. student f-1 visa , i was refused on December 2022 and the school defer my admission and issue another i-20 school starting august 2023 .. now i have paid for new visa fee but i am confuse on this page on us portal to schedule appointment

Select Visa Priority:

1.Previously Refused - Visa refused in the last 6 months (WARNING: Your appointment will be cancelled for providing false information. If your appointment is cancelled, you will need to re-pay your visa fee)

2. Regular - Visa not refused in the last 12 months

please which of the above applies to me........

Reason for denial is definitely funding. You made an initial brilliant statement which i highlighted, and you could directed your interview on that pedestal. However, you slipped when asked about your sponsorship. You stand the chance to get the visa if better prepared.

How better could I have responded?

Me: I chose southeastern Louisiana university because of all the schools I was admitted into, it was the only one that admitted into their honors program, and gave me a 60 percent off tuition

Vo: How do you plan to cover this deficit?
Me:My father will be covering it, and he has been the operations manager of etex for 20 years, and I went on to explain his role, and the amount he makes.

Vo: What do you plan to do with this degree?
Me: I plan to apply as a systems administrator at ipnx, an internet service provider here in Lagos. I also plan to utilize my skills and knowledge to help address the digital divide in Nigerian by improving access to technology and bridging the gap between urban and rural areas.

Vo: Do you have an elder brother or sister
Me: no I have two younger brothers

Vo: sorry you are not qualified for a visa at this time


What could have happened?

I need to ask a question group; if a person is denied a visa, does he/she have to pay another fee for the visa interview?
