Why not replace written paper submission with oral defence so the ideas are forced to pass through the brain of the the students and not just from Internet to paper. |

The senseless war again. If Russia(Putin actually) cannot achieve his 'greatness' with the Rus ethnic group whose welfare he used as pretext to invade, what is holding him from pulling out of Ukraine? He should at least offer something better to cheap African labourers and not that insulting figure i am seeing. $14k is just about one lowend EV cost. |

CoronaVirusPro: Good move. The Federal government should not be maintaining fleets of private jets. Proceeds from such sale can be channeled into other sectors that will benefit Nigerians.
It’s a good one coming of His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) yeahhh. Like stoning of the devil or building of redundant highways. |

Softmirror: There was someoñe talking down about Tinubu's government in a gathering. His neighbor quickly tapped him and said hope your son received this months student stipends. The man bowed his head in shame because if not for the monthly stipends that comes with the student loan, there was no how he as a father would have been able to send his son through an higher institution.
The truth is most people who complain about Tinubu's policies are people who are narrow minded and those who are blinded by hate and bitterness. Nice lies ooo. At least you cooked something in support of your paymaster. |

And some of the time, if you dare call him out? Poof! Your comment gets deleted, gone without a trace. Meanwhile, his stays up, brainwashing anyone who's gonna fall for it. he has disabled the feature since you highlighted it. https://www.nairaland.com/8468249/bat-transactional-leader-desire-not#136006901As for me, I posted the below reply to the above topic and booom, a ban was swiftly applied. Mariangeles: Two oranges will do for your body what 1ltr of packaged orange juice cannot. well you may be right depending on the actual content of the packaged juice but it has become unfeasible to transport a whole orange around when it can be juiced and cost of transporting reduces by as much as 60%. The nutritional aspect versus labelling is where NAFDAC and co comes in. |
Politics › Re: FG Unveils Strategy To Complete Nine Seaports, Modernise Existing Ones by CodeTemplarr: 12:06am On Jul 06, 2025 |
Vision101: The average Nigerian do not understand what reform is. They call you a good leader once bag of rice is 10,000, fuel at 100, electricity free, dollar rate at 150 etc. Even if all these lead to total collapse of the economy in future they don't care.
Their slogan is: give us this day our daily bread. That's why politicians have played on this for so many years and we are where we are. Keep shut. What economic activities will the seaports be supportinh when production is almost dead? Is it imports as usual or export of what we lack? Always supporting evil just for politics sake. This is like the useless roads and flyovers they have all around. Very visionless lot. |

Believeintruth: Why should government be involved in dollar sales if they removed subsidy? Why are you contradicting yourself? because for example govt earn largely in Naira and spend most Naira. Example is Salaries. Or is govt suppose to stash dollar earned indefinitely? Another way to arrange it all is to demand Naira for crude, that way, buyers of crude will have to exchange their dollar for Naira from importers, intl students, or politicians taken their booty outside. |

Believeintruth: He is not getting anything right, this is just to paper the cracks. They are pumping so much to defend the naira, the same thing they criticised the previous government of doing. Regular forex sales is different from defence of local currency. Govt must sell dollar to those who want to use dollar but operate from Naira domain. The international multinationals. The students going out. The importers. What cinstitute defence of local currency is when the seller(largely govt) ignores the actual equilibrium between supply and demand of forex and sells as a supplier below the equilibrium point(denoted by price). If being defended as you claimed, then the floating of Naira is not real. |
