Rechargable fans charge up to 14.6v, hence it fits a lead acid and lifepo4 batteries.

The problem is not the lithium ion but the charging profile of your fan. To use it, charge via the 12v port not the ac to ac cord ooo (this will give u 14.6v).

If you want to charge the lithium ion to 12.6v via ac to ac direct cord, you will need a buck converter to reduce the 14.6v to 12.6v as this will serve as your cc for charging.
