There is earthly and heavenly riches. As you use one wisely, you accrue the other. As you waste one, you diminish the other.

All the billions of dollars in extra defence budget is useless. The billions if not up to Trillions of Naira used to do NIN and SIM too is wasted. Nigeria has laws and structures for the sake of having them and paying salaries of loyalists not for the sake of a functioning society.

Most of yall shouting farming , is farming easy, is everyone a landowner , what about the ones who already have a job ? Oga farming is a partial way out of it(partially). Better than iaing N30k to transport to go and earn N50k.

Awesome, you want to everyone to go into farming on a subsistence scale right? How do you intend to feed yourself and family on a subsistence scale for a whole calender year?
The bottomline is farming is expensive no matter how you try to distort the fact and subsistence/backyard farming can't get us out of this quagmire, you can't farm all you eat on a subsistence scale,to do these you need a large expanse of land and you can't rely on crude and organic fertilizers alone, you need to hire manual labour or get mechanize farming equipment and these things don't come cheap.I am a part time farmer (livestock farming) and I know quite some crop farmers so I know what it cost to run a farm.

Half bread, they say, is better than none sir. Even if is a small plot you can do to grow the beans or rice you need for just one month, do it if you are not being paid for your time and effort elsewhere.
