The rule of thumb is “10%” more.

EVERY private university pays only 10% more than public universities for their permanent staff (to retain them) and then about “25%” more for visiting lecturers from public universities (to woo them).

Some universities likes Baze University and some other “New” ones too go up to 25% difference.

This is a remarkable feat - that medical doctors are even doing specialist training in Nigeria today. The government should better compensate them well with better renumerations, allowances, promotions and more specialist trainings. Otherwise nah JAPA mode those guys dey be that.
