DoctorStanley: What you described is NOT devaluation. "Big brother" can also appreciate the currency, keeping it artificially expensive by supporting it. overdoing or "underdoing" it is either undervaluation or overvaluing. |

When the good book of God said the needy should be helped out, it meant those who are genuinely not in a position to help themselves naturally and not those who are just entitled and will willingly declare themselves as needy thinking the church is an osusu scheme where they use kingdom greetings. Church too has scriptural needs and is more needy than the members. |

The textile and garment industry is ultra competitive and export oriented, and their modus operandi dead on arrival. must it be export oriented from day one? How about import substitution or reduction in the medium term? Your analysis is best described as Ogodomigodo. |

Devaluatuon means no big brother in govt is valuing it forcefully against the reality of demand-supply equilibrium. Actual price is ignored in devaluation in favour of one the govt or politicians feels appeals to its operation and potential voters. |

^^^ textile is the input to garment making. While i consider the figure outrageous and unrealistic, it is better to have the factory for local production sake.
Funny how your solution in your last paragraph is about zero import duties on fabrics and not what we posses competitive advantage in. |

rejoice4eva: In most of the posts and comments I saw above, unfortunately all I could see is frustrations, jealousy, ignorance, pride and deliberate mischief. If the church is poor like to the popular saying, as poor as church rat, I know the many people speaking here would have balamed their God and accused them of laziness. If it is easy to become billionaires by just starting a church, what stop many jobless wailers here crying more than the bereaved form a starting their own church, after all God does not belong to anyone in particular. Stop and think, somebody who can legitimately support God's work with a billion naira , may not be a fool as a delusional mind of some people are deceiving them. They know something you don't know. As long as some church leaders are not angels, there is room for little errors, but generalizing that for all pastors or criminalizing the entire church for it , is deliberate wickedness. Despite, all the antics, falsehood and widespread online condemnation against the church and her leadership, is it not amazing that God is blessing and promoting the church? I see misinterpretation of basic facts from the OP. The question should be "by churches scaling up their involvement in transport or travel, will it drive down average cost of travel for that church"? Thats the main question to be answered and not why a catholic that's bigger in finances has no jets or poorer pastors. If those pastors are not wise and visionary like solomon plus rich, most folks around forming church supporter club will not fund them ooo. |

To me, one the richest churches in the world is the Living Faith Church in Nigeria.

dominique: Your darling Israel is one of the most gay countries in the world. Are you wishing that God should destroy Isreal? God didn't say Isreal will be sin free no they were chosen among all the people to both suffer and demonstrate something crucial to others. To be a symbol to others among all tribes. Thats why God kept editing and adjusting their traditions in phases. To demonstrate what true relationships with God will eventually comme to entail. It wasnt an election of future righteousness between all ethnic or racial nations. |
