I have noticed that most people looking for offshore entry level oil rig job just don't want to spend money to get 1.
They are just simply too cheap.

Doing courses in our safety schools will be of benefit but in my opinion it will be better if you call the people running the course and find out if they have contacts who take on their students as employees after the course. However I think that is unlikely, I am pretty sure you will be on your own again after the course with no guarantee of a job.
