Investing in Liberia is very easy, I only doubt if the have that disposable income

1. I agree with the idea of building a new city in the center with access to other main cities in the region.
2. No reasonable progress will ever be made under the present arrangement in Nigeria
3. Talking about allocation, we would be better off financially without Nigeria.
4. Apart from Lagos which other South West state is Making a giant straid? Don't mind the media propaganda, I have been to most South western states, they are not better than us.
5. Truly, remaining part of Nigeria would pay us more but not under the current system, we will need true federalism for that.

Mention 2 SW state that any SE state generates more IGr than, I will be waiting.

If SW succeeds in connecting all SW states with rail una no go see their back, in a very long time.

Apart from Lagos? SW has Ogun, Ibadan.

These 2 states no SE state compares to them in anything. This is minus Lagos o.

There’s nothing wrong with the present arrangements.


I support it 100%, I even propose that the present arrangement should be followed 100%.

I support quota system, I support federal character, I support the present unitary system.

So tell us how we would fund a $2billion dollar SE railway station when our states at present can’t survive without allocation.

Soludo as financially knowledgeable as he is thought SE was richer than so so so. But when he entered into government house he saw the reality in ground.

I ask you again, if there’s true federalism and they stop giving SE allocation, how would we fund our region?

With the present system any money generated by all states, whether rich or poor is contributed and split between everybody. With this system at least every region would always have something to work with.

Tell me how SE would fund itself, that’s how ipob and Biafra said they can contribute billions for Biafra, when Nnamdi Kanu needed 300million to post bail, it had to take a Nigerian senator using money for his constituency to pay that bail.

Part of their plan is to create a brand new city around Okigwe that would cut from all 5 states

But first is the gas master plan that is almost complete

Okigwe - the most backward of all famous places in the East!

Just wondering what will make anyone make that remote village a state capital - dreams and nightmares are free though.

And should the East get another state by some miracle, naming the new state Okigwe will be a great error. Okigwe is synonymous to backwardness and emptiness. The present day Okigwe has nothing in it except a huge unfinished Catholic cathedral, red soil for bricks that no one uses, prostitution in great abundance and all manner of crimes.

I can only be grateful to Okigwe for being the place I met and married my beautiful and loving wife. It is also said that there are no barren women in Okigwe, I can’t say I knew any barren women the 7 years I lived there. I was actually told that for some reasons, any woman unable to conceive elsewhere, readily conceive upon taking residence in Okigwe.

Aside these, Okigwe is the definition of a medieval city in a 21st century world.

This is the major reason it needs it.

As this would help its development.

There's no Development without the rule of law.

I have a plan for all existing south eastern state.

I have a renewable plan for agriculture that would change Igbo land and make it self sufficient.

I have a plan that would solve Enugu water problem forever.

I have a plan that would make all the eastern airports operational.

The reason alot of former igbo tribes outside the east is denying their igboness is because we have not shown them anything. Poor man no get friend.


If we get it right, they would be proud to talk about their igbo sides than trying to suppress it.


Igbo land has enough land mass to feed the whole Nigeria whole Nigeria, I know exactly how to achieve that.

We need to say NO to Biafra though. Based on my years of research igbo land would thrive more in a Nigeria.

Most easterners don't know that part of the main reasons that the war ended the way it did, was because of having Enugu as the capital. Enugu is basically a border town. ., at the periphery. Few weeks into the war, it was already a captured territory. No serious foreign power wanted to get behind the easterners after that. They said cause orlu is big and rich and populated.

I asked them orlu has created most imo state governors, orlu has benefited the most from imo state, is it orlu that’s benefiting from imo state that should be asking for a state or regions that are marginalised, they shouted be down, they say I am talking like an efulefu.


Every day I begin to think if in igbo land critical thinking makes u an outcast.

If you talk sense of they don’t brand u Fulani, they brand your Yoruba. I am like I don’t understand what’s going on.

The civil war proved Enugu had no business being capital of igbo land or the south east. Historically the reason Enugu was cited as capital was not out of it being the best option, but it was the the development that arose from coal mining in the state. Apart from that, there’s no other reasonable reason for it to be capital of igbo land.

Enugu is not defendable, Enugu is far too much in the border. There’s a reason y during the Biafra/civil war Enugu was taken swiftly, it was because of this reason. Until now I am surprised that people who are still talking about Biafra or even regionalism hasn’t seen the need for us as Igbos to make a collective decision for the seat of power in igbo land to be moved elsewhere.

That apart from a feasible point of view, how do we have a development that would be reasonable, if our focus would be at Enugu, rail line wise, road wise, infrastructure wise if all the eastern states put focus on Enugu there would be so much hindrance in a feasible development, but if we focus our development in a state like Okigwe that can be created from the SE.

The capital of the SEDC can be situated here and we start looking at other factors that can be put into play on how it would lead to the development of the SE at large.



The seat of power can be at rolling hills okigwe, this place has a hilly mini mountain. A true seat of power, if it requires a bunker been built there for a nuclear bunker or anything, it’s capable of holding one.

From Okigwe we can have a rail line that starts there and easily goes to the 5eastern states, with Okigwe being the central point.

Also the fact that PH-Maiduguri rail lines goes through this region makes things even better.


Igbos think, I want us to see this and have this in our minds so in time we would understand.


FG must not create a new state for us, but if this is in our mind somewhere we can work towards making it a ceremonial capital of the SE until whatever unfolds in the future.

Of lately I saw on the news about the Federal government passing a law that established regional development commissions in all the 6 geopolitical zones.

SWDC for South west
SEDC for South east
NDDC for South south
NEDC for North east
NCDC for North central
NWDC for North west

After the establishment of these developments commission, I started having a deep rethink of where exactly Nigeria is heading to.

I began to ask myself as a South easterner what exactly is the plan of the south east. Does the south east have any plans for itself, what is the south east master plan that the newly established SEDC can help work towards, I have asked that question and even the people shouting Biafra don’t have an answer to it.

If SE doesn’t know how to advance itself right now, when we are collecting billions in allocations monthly. Is it when you get Biafra that the funding stops coming that you would start thinking of a plan?

A man who fails to plan plans to fail, the same goes with regions who fail to plan.

I have been thinking about SE for a decade and I have lots of plans set down for the SE, but as they decided to start now, I beleive I should keep this here for future sake, maybe someone of worth or sense from the region would see reason in what am doing.

Enugu has no business being the capital of the South east. This is a fact that both science, geography, igbo culture, heritage, andvance and everything attests to.

I was born and brought up in ph.

I miss the good old days where, I go to work at ***** from there I go to oc, from there i go to dae on things, then go to gra. Then go to area.


The days where I stay in my house and guys call me and say “where u dae, e dae happen for here”, d days where I go anywhere and it’s a shutdowns, where if police arrest u it’s highest the least.

Have you first tried this in your home state of origin ?
I will advise you take that route first .
Except you have a very strong connection here in Lagos that is into real estate with many years of experience .
You can contact that person and push forward your invention to him or her .

I don’t need to buy a house or land to achieve that. It’s the easiest thing you can think of, na y I want cash out before e go cast, cause eventually it would cast and everybody would start doing it.

Lagos is one state that doesn't knows tribe, once what you are contributing is positive and you have your marketing tools at disposal, forget it, people will surely come for it be it igbo business, Yoruba or Hausa...that's why Lagos is always the best

I invented something that would solve Nigerian problems on a whole different level. I can’t say it here, but u want to know to people who live in Lagos about how easy or hard it is to start a business in Lagos.

Also I want to know if I can patent my idea, that if when I start it and people decide to go into it, they can pay me royalty.

Lastly am igbo, I have heard alot about Lagos, I have never lived there before, I only visit. Are the stories true?
As an igbo person reading this you know what I mean.

The meaning of Lagos housing scarcity is that Lagos state has outlived its need for the conventional Nigerian duplex houses. Lagos state should be ushering in a new era of high rises and sky scrapers .

The houses available cannot and never be enough, if banks can change their finance structure to allow for people who want to pool their funds together to be able to build sky scrapers it would help move the city forward. Than a system where they are combining and selling everything that looks like land available.
