For years I observed that one of the major issues the people of Enugu has is water issue. This has been consistent for years. A lot of Enugu people have accepted this fate.

But do you know that with technology you can now easily know the areas in Enugu where you can buy or get a land and easily site a borehole and get water.

The whole of Enugu metropolis is on a highland, with elevation reaching 200m to 400m. But if towards the eastern end of Enugu, from emene to oruku to akpugo these are lowlands that can make accessing ground water for boreholes possible.

So if you hv the intention of buying a land consider this. The western end of Enugu is a Nogo area and u wud face water issues.

This information might be useful to anyone.

Am not from Enugu neither do I live there, I just wanted to help my igbo people.

Whenever you want to buy a land in Enugu use google map to monitor the terrain and elevation. It wud help you.

In Nigeria, there’s a level of intellectual laziness I have observed that exists around the people in general.

Majority of Nigerians hardly want to use our brains, all we want to do is complain from morning till night, wait for someone else to do something.

I observed that in Nigeria if you put years of research into something once you start it, in less than 2months another person would go and start exactly the same thing with no form of innovation or anything. They will even start it right opposite your own.

To encourage research, innovation, hard work and business reward. If a new business is started, that is new to the Nigerian market the government of the state should make a law that for the next 5years the entrepreneur behind the business owns sole right to doing that business in the state.


This would help encourage people to think outside the box.

I got a training opportunity with an oil and gas firm in Lagos sometime in 2019. I resigned my job in Abuja and moved to Lagos.

Our office was in Ajah. So I got a place around Lakowe. One weekend I decided to check up on my cousin staying at Alapere. I spent the weekend at her place and headed back to Ajah on Monday around 2pm.

We got to the Landmark center axis around 3pm or so.. There was a crazy gridlock on that Lekki-Epe expressway.

I sat down at the back and held on to my bag firmly. Three hours later, we didn't move 300 meters. Passengers kept dropping one after the other, I thought they had either gotten to their bus stop or maybe were hanging around for the traffic to ease.

6pm or so we were around Jakande.. I noticed an exodus of people trekking... and almost all the buses were empty, while others were looking for the easiest way to turn back.

That was when it dawned on me that all the people I saw walking by were actually passengers that alighted from buses and were trekking back home... Omoh!

I jumped down from the bus, and joined the exodus of people happily cruising their legediz Benz to their respective destinations.

I got to Ajah bridge around 9pm, crossed over and got one Orijin bitters, crossed back and located the nearest transport company.. That was GUO.. I bought a ticket for the first bus heading to Abuja the next day.

That was how I ended my training with the firm.

Lagosians are very patient and resilient people!

As someone who has lived there, can u say Lagos favours business people or employees?

To whom it may concern , moving out of Lagos has always been peaceful but boring, if you chose the peace part, you won't want to leave outskirt of Lagos but if you love the city life, Lagos is the best place for you, I have never witnessed congestion since leaving Lagos but there was a time I nearly died when one big hold up ,hold me from egbeda to ikotun , anytime.i visit Lagos, I will first prepared my mind for traffic and crazy people there

Nigeria right now is experiencing a huge evolution of its economy, consumer behaviours are changing and I have been trying to look for that bubble that would be created with this shift in consumer behaviours.

I have used AI to try to find the bubble but AI knowledge is still limited, so I found the bubble myself and am still finding more bubbles.


In one of my bubbles I found a way to increase sales of beverages, be it Coca-Cola or beer or stout, with a huge margin. This one move would give whoever tries the idea out a huge market share in Nigeria beer market.

All I need is the right audience, a direct link to one of the major beer companies.

I hv been making some research for the past few months about a business, now I am ready to go into it, I know once I start this business it would be the first of its kind in Nigeria, and eventually it would be copied and replicated, so before I do I want to milk it as far as I can.

Originally I wanted to do this business in port harcourt the city I am based but knowing it can be replicated with great success, I decided to look at the possibilities of going to Nigerias largest market which is Lagos.

This business has the possibilities of been run from home, from an office shop, inside a car, or on the streets all I need is just space.


I am not a Lagos person, I haven’t really lived in Lagos more than 2 weeks in all my life.

I want to know if it’s advisable to do a business in Lagos? Or should I just stick to port harcourt that I know!

This is really sad, I hope things have gotten better for you wherever you may be. Is it due to the antiimmigrant sentiment or just the constant hustle and bustle of western life?! I'm black american but even when I go on travel assignments to different states as an RN I still get homesick so I couldn't image what it's like basically being logically compelled to be somewhere your heart isn't. Hope that makes sense lol.
