Nigeria is not the second based on this statistics. Highest is Algeria followed by Jamaica. This is good statistics for Nigeria, I was expecting higher data. It shows that for every 1000 nigerians, there are less one nigerian in criminal activity whereas for every 1000 Algerians, there are 30 criminals based on this data |

Kentnickole:I am so surprised and digusted at this comment. A Phd holder is someone that has gone through academic rigour. Developed nations rely on the output of phd's holders to stay ahead of their competitors. It is very sad that future leaders have this kinda of mindset. It is important to know that quality of Nigerisn education will continually depreciate until we address the quality of lecturers. What u don't have, u can't give. |
What is the cost of pig per kg? For instance if it is for breeding or fatteners What is the cost of PKC and brewery waste |
@Overkill, wetin now, are u into public relations now? Nigeria will not move forward if we have people that support bad governance and selfish ambitions. I found this article(You lazy(intellectual) African scum!) interesting: http://bulawayo24.com/index-id-opinion-sc-columnist-byo-11539-article-you+lazy+%28intellectual%29+african+scum!.html. It may help to shape your views about life |
@Ebosed, I don't think you should trade words with "Nchara". His comments showed that he's myopic. We're bound to have such people within our community. Nigeria cannot move forward if we're sentimental. @Nchara, I'll advise you see beyond your nose. There's more to life than being ethnic bigots. We're Nigerians and we'll always be one. Stay blessed! |
I observed there is no protest in the South East of Nigeria. Every geopolitical zone has expressed their grievances via protest/occupy Nigeria. What's happening to my Igbo brodas? |
It seems our leaders don't choose their words correctly. See Sultan's statement below: “We came in here to felicitate and commiserate with Mr. President over the unfortunate incident that happened this period", Sultan Even our president used the same word "felicitate" in his media release to the nation. I think we should change our offical language to "Pidgin english". It should make life easy for our leaders & their wives, in the likes of "fellow widows" |
Don't you think electricity will hinder the success of the biz. If I can consider to use generator, what of the cost of diesel? |
Why should a nigerian president wear suit? Is suit native to nigeria culture? U should be proud of who you are. U shouldn't be ashamed of your culture, attires & food. Wake up bro. Get rid off this colonial mentality. |
I have few questions about the concept of wedding ceremony in Nigeria 1. Which one is more important? Traditional wedding or church wedding? Please cite bibilical examples in your argument. 2. If church wedding is important, why can't couples dress in their native attires during the wedding ceremony? 3. If you're a bride, can you dress in native attires during the church wedding ceremony? |

Don't abuse anyone. I guess it's a misinformation by the media. I was reading article in a nigerian newspaper where I saw Prof Okonjo-Iweala. I was surprised to see her being addressed as Professor. I was very curious to know if she's a Prof like any academic person will do. I typed the Prof Okonjo-Iweala in google and the first entry was this discussion. I was glad that someone in a part of the world queried that title. I don't think she's a Prof. Although, she is a fellow of Brookings Institution. None of her bio data indicates she's a Prof. check out this webpages: http://www.brookings.edu/~/media/Files/experts/okonjoiwealan/okonjoiwealan_bio.pdf http://www.brookings.edu/experts/okonjoiwealan.aspx |
i had terrible experience when i went for interview with one of the telecoms firms in nigeria. i was embrassed that i started laughing. i got into the conference room. the first question was when did u get to know abt the interview. i said like 2 days ago but i had 2 travel from another state down. the guy ask if i can sense something is wrong with my dressing. I said no. I was wearing a nice pants & very lovely shirt but I wasn't wearing any tie or suit. they queried my dressing sense. Men, i was really embrassed that i couldn't answer any question during d interview. the interview session turn to counselling period. I was really amazed @ how employers put so much focus on wearing suit for an interview. As an engineer, I am not used to suits dressing code. I think they should judge by the content u carry not the outer appearance. |
